Monday 29 September: Europe can’t afford to be timid in the face of Russian provocation

An unofficial place to discuss the Telegraph letters, established when the DT website turned off its commenting facility (now reinstated, but we prefer ours),
Intelligent, polite, good-humoured debate is welcome, whether on or off topic. Differing opinions are encouraged, but rudeness or personal attacks on other posters will not be tolerated. Posts which – in the opinion of the moderators – make this a less than cordial environment, are likely to be removed, without prior warning.  Persistent offenders will be banned.

Today’s letters (visible only to DT subscribers) are here.

    1. I have to admit, on the odd occasions when MB watches Sky news, unless I'm in the room and can see the graphics, I can discern no difference from the BBC.

  1. How does Starmer think that he can win back voters by calling Reform racist over it's policy to return immigrants that are a financial and criminal burden on the public services of our country?
If their policy is racist, then virtually every country in the world must be racist.

    1. His Home Secretary for this week is planning to do much the same thing.
Will he accuse her of being racist?

  2. Good Moaning. (Apart from being Monday)
Tim Stanley rising to Madeline Grant levels: " a stationery cupboard for a soul". A superb description of the grey banality of Stoma.

  3. Good morning, all. Season of mists and…

Has Starmer inadvertently lit the blue touch paper of mass opposition with his Digital ID plan and the ludicrous reasoning he is using to try and sell it? Or, does his move open the door to more governmental oppression as the momentum of opposition builds?

    Morning Each,

Monday 29 September: Europe can’t afford to be timid in the face of Russian provocation

    Priorities,priorities,priorities
    Should read,

Monday 29 September:England cannot afford to be timid in the face of invasion provocation.

The one issue that holds steady through ALL these
deflecting issues is that there is no let up in the invading numbers coming ashore daily.

We are now witnessing surely corporate manslaughter
via english / french governing political overseers, in the shape of kids & adults dying, victims of the invasion campaign written off as collateral damage, plenty more in the pipeline.
    Ps,
I would not be surprised if President Putin raised a BFC he would be inundated with the response.

  5. We seem to have two pages for today.
This page, having fewer posts than the other, I will close: Beef to me or another Mod if that's annoying you.
