335592+ Up ticks,
Morning AWK,
Was the same nigeria along with the police
having to subsidise their pay.
Good Morning Folks,
Scorchio here this morning
BBC Radio 4 news seem to be taking an interest in the Dover invasion problem with a report of a record number of invaders arriving on the Kent coast yesterday. I think GB News probably forced them to do that as it was a subject on Nigel Farage’s “FARAGE” programme last night.
NF also interviewed the leader of the 22 Committee and it was evident that there is some unrest in the Conservative back benches.
might have something to do with what NF’s been pointing out for years, much to the annoyance of “establishment” and complicit MSM. Am sure Radio 4 would have preferred to airbrush the undeniable fact if you arrive in the UK across the Channel in a rubber boat [or Navy taxi service] illegally, you get a 5 star hotel and decent grub for free! If you turn up at Heathrow as a British passport holder you get a 3 star hotel,10 day quarantine and pay £1750 [or whatever the current rate is] and treated like you don’t exist for the ordeal. Am sure Gordon Brown News having NF on his own slot, has caused more than a few ripples
And we are banned from filming the events.
I guess that’s the flip side of having a “smartphone”, so even IF banned, it still gets out and uploaded
NF accepts comments, supportive or otherwise on his programme. He reads a selection of them out giving the writer’s first name only. He asked last night what people thought of Boris as a leader and the replies were all negative until he eventually coerced one person to give a mild support to our PM. I wonder who will be the first Nottler to get a comment read out on the FARAGE programme.
The BBC have an interview with Dominic Cummings tonight at around 7pm. I am sure NF will get an interview with DC at some time if not already.
thanks for that info, I get neither here in Kenya so rely on what’s uploaded here and a few other sites. Strangely, I do happen to agree with this https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/cb2c10c5ebc44c76b5b0b753adf56266dba5e91c6224b8b84a69bd9544076103.png hence Nottler posts help fill the void

Morning Cs,
A warning,
This was meted out to 30000 & rising UKIP members
party building under Gerard Batten.
Meted out to the very party that gave him a platform,
his thanks via LBC,
He then went on to build a party and gain candidates
only to stand them down in a very pro johnson manner.

Morning hall.
I steer clear of BBC Today in the mornings, except for a short burst on my clock radio to check my hearing aid has booted up successfully. In those few seconds this morning I heard someone reporting from the English Channel a la Farage who apparently doesn’t know the difference between ‘asylum seeker’ and ‘migrant’ as he used both terms indiscriminately.
‘Reith’ and ‘grave’ come to mind.
Gad, a revolving Reith.
Almost as good as a revolting Boris.
Good morning, Fortescue.
Pfizer vaccine linked to Bell’s palsy after man suffers facial paralysis. 20 July 2021.
The Pfizer Covid jab has been linked to Bell’s palsy after a 61-year-old British man suffered facial paralysis after each dose of the vaccine.
In an article in the journal BMJ Case Reports, Dr Abigail Burrows, of Royal Surrey County Hospital, described how the man experienced paralysis to the right side of his face five hours after the first jab.
He attended the emergency department after he was unable to close his left eye properly or move the left side of his forehead and was given a course of steroids. Six weeks later, he suffered paralysis to the left side of his face two days after his second dose, causing him to dribble and have difficulty swallowing.
“The occurrence of the episodes immediately after each vaccine dose strongly suggests that the Bell’s palsy was attributed to the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, although a causal relationship cannot be established,” said Dr Burrows.
Morning everyone. I don’t want to build some mountain on a single medical molehill but are problems beginning to emerge in this vaccination program? I caught the news last night and there was an underscreen banner that said one third of those people in hospital with Covid were double jabbed. Really? Is it me? I would have thought that would be the lead with Ministers sweating nervously on camera! Perhaps I simply don’t understand. Do these vaccines actually work? The talk of boosters in the MSM is itself suggestive of failure though of course no one in the Government is going to talk of that.
With the confusion over passports to nightclubs, a Fourth Wave etc. Is this a government floundering under the beginnings of an awful realisation that all the sacrifices made over the last eighteen months are worthless? That the whole thing is going to crash and burn at the cost of an economy already teetering on the edge of collapse! When this thing first started my initial post on April 1 2020 was…
Mark my words this is the Apocalypse. Not because of this minor ailment but because the response to it will destroy the foundations of the modern world.
http://disq.us/p/28bj8sc
It is beginning to look as if this might be the most prescient thing I have ever written!
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2021/07/19/pfizer-vaccine-linked-bells-palsy-man-suffers-facial-paralysis/
It’s interesting that “a causal relationship cannot be established” , is this and the other reported side effects the results of media clickbait hysteria, a psychosomatic reaction of Nervous Nellys or just a plain serendipitious concatenation of events inevitable given the millions of injections delivered.
https://www.tylervigen.com/spurious-correlations
Morning Datz. I find the lack of a causal relationship more alarming then the alternative since it implies some hidden effect and if one exists why not more? Time might reveal a whole litany of negative reactions. Remember Thalidomide!
…and remember Big Pharma’s immunity to prosecution.
and more recently statins – the official line was , and still is AFAIK , there are no side effects and those many 1000,s reporting significant joint pain are just imagining it. I can attest that what I thought was advancing years causing me great shoulder pain disappeared when I stopped taking statins and reappeared when I started again. I now no longer take them and lost weight instead.
#Me too. Shoulder and neck pain. I tried three different statins, they all had the same side-effect.
My Dr was sympathetic to the joint/muscle pain associated with statins, and the sme with SWMBOs Dr. Both spent quite a while changing statin and adjusting the dose to get the desired effect without the pain. Successfully, I should add.
‘Morning, Datz, Statins – not to mention the tricks it plays with memory, if I remember correctly.
My memory has been damaged because I was prescribed daily 80mg of Simvastatin. I stopped taking it too late.
Subsequent research on the internet found that trials on rats had shown that Simvastatin damaged memory. Why the hell are GPs still prescribing it?
The government pays doctors for every person they put on statins. Aaah!
My next-door neighbour experienced just this effect after having had her first AZ jab. She was loather to be jabbed in the first place but wishes to see her dying mother who’s on an experimental cancer drug trial and they won’t let her see her unless my neighbour was jabbed. My neighbour has been told that the second jab (should she choose to have it) will have to be administered in a hospital. She’s between a rock and a hard place.
The initial story was that the vaccine would protect against the virus, but I see that the story is morphing into that it will lessen the severity when you are infected, and indeed fewer seem to be winding up in hospital.
morning all, possible briefly [see below] post. The Tuesday propaganda scribbles. “Stephen L. Phillips” obviously never read the standing Government orders, which 77 Bde got, the [final] solution is = FLM [Fat Lives Matter]. For “Dr Taj Hargey” – ask him:
SIR – Good luck to Richard Faber (Letters, July 17) in trying to find out the age, underlying medical condition and vaccination status of people admitted to hospital with Covid-19.
I’ve become frustrated at the total lack of information about the so-called daily cases. Are positive test results checked, even just a sample? Are these mainly from home testing with the inaccurate lateral flow test? How long do those admitted to hospital stay?
Mr Faber wonders if the secrecy is to frighten us, which is probable, given the record of this Government. It is a sad state of affairs.
We should bombard MPs with these questions. It would be a good sign if these MPs were back in the Commons looking after our democracy.
Hugh Suter
Milford, Surrey
SIR – About 1,850 deaths occur on UK roads each year. Should cars be banned?
David Hutchinson
Nutley, East Sussex
SIR – An old friend of ours has been in hospital for two weeks. He has had regular Covid tests, all negative, but he has just been pinged by Test and Trace telling him that he has been in contact with someone who has Covid and must self-isolate for 10 days.
He isn’t certain if he’ll be out of hospital by then.
Eric Harpham
Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire
SIR – Huge numbers of people have to isolate after being pinged by the NHS Covid-19 app, crippling the economy in the process. Why on earth can these people not go to work, if they test negative every day, as the Prime Minister tried to do himself?
Geoff Swindells
Worksop, Nottinghamshire
SIR – The deficient NHS Covid-19 app has a 24-hour memory. If you share a space with someone suspected of having Covid in that time, you risk being pinged.
Add false-positive test results to the mix and we have an economy that is falling apart because of the attempt to prop up a failed NHS.
The Prime Minister now needs to get a grip, ditch the app and get Britain back to work.
Jonathan Williams
Pickworth, Nottinghamshire
SIR – There is no facility for directly signing out from a venue using the NHS Covid-19 app (Letters, July 17) – only by checking into another venue using a QR code.
On the app website, the frequently asked questions section says: “When you check in somewhere new, your phone will know you have left the previous venue. It will automatically check you out of your latest venue at midnight.
“If it’s identified that people with coronavirus (Covid-19) have been to a venue, it may be decided that anyone who was at that venue on the same date will get an alert.”
A solution? Get a QR code for your living-room or similar safe place; print it out, and as you leave a venue, check in to your own QR code.
George Lang
Plymouth, Devon
SIR – It is ridiculous that the two most senior members of the Government must isolate. They are both vaccinated. Have we lost all sense of proportion?
Mark Harries
Chesterfield, Derbyshire
SIR – I would welcome 10 days’ quarantine at Chequers in that lovely Buckinghamshire air.
Dr Hubert Pragnell
Canterbury, Kent
SIR – In the 1950s, my father remarked to me: “Peter, always remember that within every Englishman, there’s a Puritan struggling to get out.”
So the establishment reaction to Covid-19 has proved. Killjoys, nearly every one of them, Jonathan Sumption (Comment, July 19) excepted.
Rev His Honour Peter Morrell
Nassington, Northamptonshire
Race politics in sport
SIR – Can Gareth Southgate or the England football team explain why there is any imperative to mimic the taking of the knee phenomenon, with its hugely contentious political agenda that originated in the United States?
This Black Lives Matter anti-racist gesture is peculiar to woke American cultural wars and has marginal relevance to Britain. Of course, Britain is not immune to residual or resurgent racism. Everything must be done to combat this hideous stain on society.
As someone born into horrendous institutionalised racism in apartheid South Africa, I cannot comprehend British sporting figures slavishly following a foreign precedent that does not enjoy worldwide resonance.
Should the England team not devise an indigenous strategy (perhaps bowing their heads) to express solidarity against racist bigotry instead of impulsively copying others?
Dr Taj Hargey
Provost and Director
Oxford Institute for British Islam
It’s the limit
SIR – You report (July 19) that a third of roads now have a 20 mph speed limit.
It applies to most roads in this town. Barely one motorist in 1,000 takes a blind bit of notice. It is not enforced and is a waste of taxpayers’ money.
John Brandon
Tonbridge, Kent
Blue Badge blues
SIR – I have been trying to get a Blue Badge for my 90-year-old husband. He has great difficulty walking due to an operation leaving one leg shorter, causing his spine to become crooked and very painful when walking.
We gave the required information, with a letter from a doctor, but his application has been refused. Apparently the decision is made by an occupational therapist he has not met.
Others seem to abuse the system judging by how sprightly they are in springing from their cars.
Stella Mills
Marple, Cheshire
SIR – I rang my local council yesterday to check on the progress of my wife’s application form for a disabled parking badge, which I had lodged on her behalf in May. I wanted to know where it was in the council system.
I was told that no information on the progress of the application form could be given due to data protection rules.
Ian Milne
Orpington, Kent
Shopping without cash
SIR – A couple of weeks ago, I was doing my weekly shop in Sainsbury’s when it was announced that the card scanners on all tills had broken down. Customers were asked to use cash, and if they didn’t have enough, to use the cash machines outside. Needless to say, the queues at the two cash-points were long.
What will happen if cash is phased out (Letters, July 17), and cash-points are no longer available?
Would all customers be refused their shopping in such a situation, or would the food in baskets and trolleys be given away, at a great loss to the store?
Patricia Beard
Leominster, Herefordshire
Attack on the Old Mass
SIR – In Rome on July 16 Pope Francis issued a motu proprio which, point by point, has destroyed the tolerant attitude of his predecessor towards the celebration of the traditional Latin Mass by loyal Catholics.
The suffering this display of liberal intolerance must be causing the saintly Benedict XVI can be imagined.
It seems that the present pontiff will only be satisfied when he drives out all those of us who love the Old Mass. We are to be denied the use of our parish churches and our faith is to be examined to see if we have doubts about the Second Vatican Council.
This is an attempted purge which will divide and injure the Catholic Church throughout the world.
Adrian Charles
Enfield, Middlesex
Homemade wine tax
SIR – Many of us make several gallons of homemade wine each year from wild and garden fruit and flowers.
The initial liquor has to be made up to a much higher density by the addition of sugar, usually over 4lb per gallon, to increase the final wine to a safe “keeping” strength. Naturally all the sugar is converted by fermentation into alcohol.
A tax on sugar (Letters, July 17) could cause me to cease my limited production and purchase a cheap imported wine.
Edward Davies
Corsham, Wiltshire
SIR – It is reported that Boris Johnson has poured cold water on proposals for a tax on sugar and salt.
That will be a solution.
Stephen L Phillips
Chirk, Denbighshire
The Gipsy way of life as a source of inspiration
SIR – When did Gipsy (Letters, July 17) become a pejorative term? I’ve always thought of the idea of the Gipsy as a colourful, romantic, life-affirming stereotype.
No visitor to the Munnings Art Museum here in Dedham, Essex, could fail to be impressed by the vibrant portraits of Gipsy men and women by an artist who so clearly enjoyed their company and admired their way of life.
John Tavner
Dedham, Essex
To save the CofE, first trim back the bishops
SIR – The Church of England’s management (Letters, July 19) has lost touch with its membership in much the same way as the National Trust.
Are there really over 100 bishops, including suffragan bishops, each presumably with their own entourage? Perhaps instead of cutbacks at the parish level, with one vicar serving five or more parishes, the cutbacks should be at the diocesan level, with one bishop serving five dioceses.
John Bushell
Oxshott, Surrey
SIR – William Nye (Letters, July 16), the secretary general of the Archbishops’ Council, ignores the fact that parishes are dying, crushed under the weight of the parish share they must pay.
This excessive burden is principally caused by the top-heavy bureaucracy of the seven controlling bodies which make up the central church, together with the 42 dioceses.
Instead of scoring debating points, Mr Nye should encourage his council to consider ways of reducing central costs by rationalising the dioceses, which should include the elimination of unnecessary managerial and marketing posts, and supporting the parishes by reducing the parish share.
How can we need 112 bishops for fewer than 7,000 parish clergy?
Donald R Clarke
Tunbridge Wells, Kent
SIR – The Church of England should slim down its hierarchy using the Royal Marines as its model.
In 1966 the Royal Marines had around 12,000 men and usually four generals serving in the corps. Junior officers had problems working out what the four generals did beyond command a residence, cook, batman, driver, staff car, aide-de-camp and secretary. By 1993, when I left the corps, there were still three or four generals but only around 6,000 men.
Now, with around 6,000 men still, there is but one general. As Commandant General Royal Marines, Deputy Commander UK Strategic Command, and integrated in the Royal Naval fleet battle staff, he has three jobs. Take note, Canterbury and York.
Brian Seage
St Cleer, Cornwall
Others seem to abuse the system judging by how sprightly they are in springing from their cars.
You should do so also Stella. Obedience to authority unless voluntary is not a virtue!
My Father had what was then an orange Anabl badge after he had a stroke, because he wasn’t too good on his feet. My Mother would spring in a sprightly manner from the car – she did all the driving, as Father had surrendered his licence as he considerd he wasn’t safe at the wheel.
So, the badge applied to an occupant in the vehicle, not necessarily the driver.
Good idea, Mr Lang. You might have thought it through a bit further. If, on a piece of paper, you have your own QR code for your living room, you should check in to it immediately after you have checked in somewhere else. Don’t wait until you leave.
Better still, no app.
Handwritten check-in: Fictitious information.
I expect Taj would like the team to stick their bums in the air.
Good morning all. Sunny as usual.
while still in catch up mode, I see Mr Symonds has introduced his corporate managers’ medical apartheid agenda having literally bribed the entire nation live on TV by stating that all over 18’s will need to show a vaccine passport by the end of September to enter nightclubs or packed out venues. No jab no entry.
Why wait until the end of September? That gives them almost 10 weeks to mingle and infect each other before lowering the portcullis. Same old, same old…
have to get the Olympics and Test Matches off the list, then false premise the gullible with the start of football season. Then pull the plug and roll out the next phase of Cyber Polygon and totally collapse economy, globally, [essentially US, UK, Canada, Aus] and aligned countries whose curreny’s controlled by US$ / £
Yesterday I learnt of one Autumn theatre tour that has been cancelled as the uncertainty has made it impossible to run the risk.
I guess the practicalities need rolled out – and the Commons need to vote to lock up the population – any they bastards are on yet another vacation.
Taxi for Mr. Symonds.
not this one! https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/de47f7bc062f47473ae134fb1301877ca79722d2dee8ce761b8f32afed1f013b.jpg
‘Morning, AWK, no one seems to be asking the right questions vis-a-vis
charging (double entendre) costs,
cables across pavements,
what to do if flat battery, miles from a ‘charging point’,
life-span of batteries,
cost of replacements,
infrastructure capability, etc.
Hi Tom
In full pointy-head mode this morning – apologies…
charging (double entendre) costs, – there are advertisements saying “No more paying for petrol” – well, no, but you do have to pay for volts, and at a high rate at quick chargers. The loss of fuel duty and VAT will soon be made up by an annual check of distance travelled and a charge per mile for having done so. THis system was in Norway when the use of diesel was starting in cars, since diesel was a truck fuel and VAT-free – so, every year you had to submit your odometer reading to the local Biltilsyn or Customs office, and were charged the VAT etc on the fuel used. It will soon be the same for El cars, except it’s not so easy to disconnect the speedo drive…
cables across pavements, – no problems, some Eastern European crook will nick them.
what to do if flat battery, miles from a ‘charging point’, – you’re screwed. The AA/RAC will roll up with a portable generator to get you enough of a charge to get you to nearest charging point.
life-span of batteries, – getting better, and many manufacturers now give a guarantee for the loss of charge-holding over 5 years or more.
cost of replacements, – abso-lutely effing horrendous. Well over half the cost of the car.
infrastructure capability, etc. – there’s not enough generating capacity in the UK (easy to estimate), nor grid capacity (difficult to estimate). In addition, the number of charging stations is grossly inadequate, since a) it takes ages to recharge, even to 80%, and b) there aren’t many charging stations anyway, so the queues for a charge will be out of this world. What use is a car if it takes you 6 hours to queue and charge? What’s needd is effective nanotube power storage, quick to charge, made of carbon, and light. Also, quick to discharge, so likely to explode like a bomb if you have a crash and short it out.
Morning, Ob.
Apologies unnecessary. You have summed up the real cost and utility of electric vehicles.
Usually not mentioned is the cost of battery replacement. This will come up and bite you inevitably in 3 to 5 years of ownership and should really be added to the cost of ownership. And you won’t be able to duck that by saying ‘Oh, I replace my car every two years anyway’ because the buyer will be very much aware of the looming bill coming down the track, and will expect an appropriate discount.
Expect mass dumping of cars with dead batteries that owners can’t afford to replace?
Firstborn is a motor technician, specialising in electric traction. He’s highly skeptical, as he sees all this at first hand. A new battery for a 2-3 year-old car will cost more than the car is worth, and is a right PITA to source and fit, and return the dud to the factory (to be thrown in the sea, perhaps?). It’s a terrible solution.
part of the “Great Reset”. It’ll be planned but as you know, no one from “GINO” or MSM will raise such questions
Expected life of wind turbines and solar panels – 20-30 years.
Disposal of dud batteries, solar panels and redundant wind turbines.
Supply of rare metals for battery production. and massive need for batteries and electricity for charging smaller items .
If heavy duty vehicles and massive farming tractors and their even more massive combines etc. are going to have to go electric then the whole policy will crumble.
Do the people want heat pumps rather than gas boilers – I think not but we haven’t been asked.
Our PM needs to take time off and read the pros and CONS of his climate policy. His wife can sit in with Nigel Farage and discuss her vision on climate.
Tumbril for Mr Symonds more like!
We went into the pandemic free men and women, we could go virtually anywhere without showing ID, we come out of the pandemic enslaved to vaccine passports, biotech and phone apps with all our information stored on them.
Has there ever been a disease like it?
A tissue, a tissue – we’re all locked up.
Bless you.
A tissue, a tissue – we’re all locked up.

Stationary or Stationery
While vacationing in the hills of Alabama, a businessman discovers he has no writing paper for his personal correspondence. So he goes into a small town nearby and finds only an old-fashioned country store. Behind the counter is a really nice-looking young lass, obviously a local farm girl.
She looks him up and down, as if she’s sizing him up.
After checking the shelves, he turns to her and asks: “Do you keep stationery?”
A la bama, thank you mama.
Good Moaning.
Here is a petition doing the rounds. Although I don’t place great faith in these petitions, given the current situation, it might make more of an impact than usual.
MB’s heart attack happened a fortnight after his jab and blood clots appears to be a recurrent theme with the side effects. There will be plenty of people who cannot take any of the inoculations.

Morning Each,
Tuesday 20 July: Tell us the age of people admitted to hospital with Covid and whether they are vaccinated
This request comes across as if MORE confirmation is needed to backup what the eyes / ears are showing / hearing.
Due to these governance overseeing groups lab/lib/con even though a coalition favoured by the peoples, these Isles are well into the process of sinking mentally & surely via the DOVER overseers orchestrated intake of potential troops / kapos, physically.
TO me it seems as if the request above is to verify these
In name only parties / politico’s actions as if MORE proof is needed
to show their ongoing intentions, so as NOT to upset too much the
regular voting pattern.
They are well into the throes of pulling of a coup of dominance & suppression.
To keep this action in motion and running smoothly the herds input via the polling booth is still required, when required, no need to make it
mandatory….YET.
Good morning everyone
430 migrants came ashore yesterday , boat loads .
Why here, because I guess they all speak English !
I doubt it. No need when all benefit info is translated for them.
Morning all
Question: When the Essex Variant arrives will it become known as ‘Testes and Tracy’?
The Only Jab Is Essex.
Walton-On-The -Noze
This should have been Boris Johnson’s moment of triumph. Instead it was a bewildering farce. 20 July 2021.
At times, in fact, his message was so contradictory that he didn’t seem entirely able to follow it himself. Especially when it came to the subject of nightclubs.
“We are concerned,” said Mr Johnson, frowning grimly, “by the continuing risk posed by nightclubs.” A watching nation surely did a double take. Nightclubs? As in, the things the Prime Minister had told to reopen just 17 hours earlier? If he was so deeply concerned by their “continuing” risk, why had he done that?
Not to worry. The PM had a solution. All clubbers, he announced, would be legally obliged to carry a vaccine passport… “by the end of September”.
I don’t think it’s a farce. It’s far too serious for that. I’m beginning to believe that these people are lost and are floundering to do something, anything in fact, that will convey the idea that they know what they are about.
I think we are f*cked!
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2021/07/19/should-have-boris-johnsons-moment-triumph-instead-bewildering/
his message was so contradictory that he didn’t seem entirely able to follow it himself.
He has Bidenitus
About ten weeks ago Chancellor Merkel stated that all Europeans would be required to carry Covid passports.
Soon after, the Johnson government strongly denied that they would ever be required in Britain.
Yesterday Boris quietly announced that Covid passports would be required…..[to keep in line with the Europeans]
Is this grovelling to the Europeans, or merely bowing to pressure over negotiations for passage in and out of France?
335592+ up ticks,
Morning Jh,
He & tory (ino) party never left, they are currently fighting a rear guard damage limitation pro brussels action.
He’s just following the agreed agenda.
The requirement to have at least 6 months validity on your passport is not a government requirement. It is not the law. It is a requirement imposed by airlines and other travel businesses. One may be sure that airlines will require Covid passports for all travel, whether domestic or foreign, and regardless of the destination.
‘Morning, Horace, I’m looking forward to all the sheep businesses demanding Covid Passports, going bust ‘cos no-one wants their product at that price.
Believe they do already require teh full Covid proof – either a negative test about 15 minutes before boarding, or even more stringent evidence.
I’ve also found that the “6 months validity” requirement is demanded by some countries where I had to apply for temporary work visas.
335592+ up ticks,
Morning AS,
This odious farce is going to lap the mousetrap that’s for sure, black comedy getting blacker it’s called ” you gotta vote tory (ino) to keep out labour (ino).”
A couple of weeks ago I read a transcript of UKColumn’s Brian Gerrish interview with Reiner Fullmich. Gerrish is convinced that the perpetrators of this scam are becoming frightened as more light is being thrown on their actions. Hence the ramping up of action on many of their scams. Johnson et al. are in so deep that failure is not an option; if they fail then they are done for, not just politically but as human beings: hence the floundering as they panic. The big money people driving this scam will be able to survive the fallout but the politicos in the front line will have nowhere to hide and will be hung out to dry.
Fullmich and his team are putting together a dossier of evidence and last night I watched Del Bigtree on Highwire and that group is also putting together a high-powered legal team to expose the criminals.
Chequers is now resembling Versailles 1789 or a Berlin bunker 1945.
I really do think Johnson has cracked.
I wonder, Anne, if there was a Women’s March a la Versailles 1789, if the Stasi thugs would dare go in with batons flailing – it would send a terrible message but I’m sure that they wouldn’t dare.
Video clips I’ve seen show a burly helmeted thug punching a young lass in the face. Lost the last vestiges of respect for the police at that point.
A Wimmins’ March would get through. Police wouldn’t want to be thought homophobic.

Or in Huntingdon. One of the two words of the Swahili (?) I can understand.
Morning, Tom.

Good morning, all. Late on parade. Not a good night.
mng bill, you’re still here as are the other usual suspects.
Sure he’s not been replaced by a bot?

I don’t remember it, either!! Though I did say that….
I was awake for a couple of hours this morning. Too hot so I had a cold bath.
Woken by frantic cat flap (ie, cat door, not flat cap) activity at 03:00 approx. Went downstairs to check WTF was going on. No cats to be seen – furry buggers!
Morning OB, so what did you think it was if t wasn’t the cat?
Could have been wind (as in, gales, not gastric) or Pussies leaving the building at speed.
Ah, Paul, it was the arrival of the dyslexic Yorkshire man.

A combination of heat, cramp, sounds outside of cats in distress, sustained barking (by a fox nearby). Wandering around the grounds in my wellingtons and dressing gown at 3 am is NOT my favourite pastime,
Still it got rid of the fox; and the cats – slightly subdued – came in. So by 4 am I was able to drop off – just in time for my 5 am wee.
A bit like being in horsepiddle.
So – a bit groggy!

Harry ‘DIDN’T warn Charles about $20m book deal’. 20 July 2021.
Prince Harry did not warn his father Charles about his plan to write an explosive Megxit memoir which will hit the shelves next year, it has been revealed.
The Duke of Sussex, 36, has been secretly working on the book about his life in the royal family for nearly a year, which he has since sold to Penguin Random House.
Prince Harry has been collaborating with Pulitzer-winning ghostwriter J. R. Moehringer in a rare move from a senior member of the royal family.
Subtitled, The Sufferings of a Royal Prat. One almost wishes that the Manson Family were still in business.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9803675/Prince-Harry-written-bombshell-Megxit-MEMOIR.html
Many books have already been written about Megan and Harry. They’re under the psychology section, see Narcissism.
Good morning Wibbling
I think the pair of them are dangerously toxic.
It seems to me that they are constantly hatching plans and scheming … they both carry a poison chalice .
Complex of Oedipus/Electra (parental complex): Oedipus complex gets its name from the Greek myth in which Oedipus killed his father and married his mother. This complex refers to the erotic feelings of the son toward the mother along with hostility and rivalry toward the father during the phallic stage of development (begins when the child is around three years old). The corresponding relationship when a daughter has erotic feelings toward the father and hostility toward the mother is called the female Oedipus complex or the complex of Electra.
Maybe what’s needed is the D of E to arrange a traffic “accident”? One can see how forward-thinking he was.
Trash is “dangerously toxic”, Maggie. Brash is just a dim idiot, completely under her thumb.
Not a dim idiot due to in-breeding though

Allow me to pose a question. I write a mobile app. I use NHS branding. I collect a database of some few million people.
Every day, I select a proportion of those people, entirely randomly, and I send them a message to stay at home for an indeterminate amount of time.
Rinse, repeat.
What sort of a person would actively obey such instruction?
My gym instructors daughter apparently reinstalled the app her Mum had removed. Apparently use of such an app is most prevalent amongst the young. Have wwe truly a generation of weak minded, advertising believing, fear obsessed weaklings that they will obey a bit of software?
What the hell happened to society? One bit are desperate to enact 1984, another lot determined to re-mae a real world Brave New World and half the population are blasted dumb Eloi!

Pollution levels see some motorway speed limits cut to 60mph
Highways England to keep measure in place for ‘foreseeable future’ until levels come down to well below legal limits
Motorway speed limits are being cut to 60mph in an attempt to lower dangerous levels of air pollution, Highways England has said.
Another well thought through plan – lower the speed limit, extend the time driving, increase the pollution. Sounds like a (typical idiot’s) plan.
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2021/07/19/motorway-speed-limits-cut-60mph-reduce-air-pollution-reveals/
Following vaccine passport precedent, surely fossil powered cars should drive very slowly, and electric cars have unrestricted speed?
That should go well.
Morning, just think of it as another restriction imposed by our socialist government.
All the towns and villages in the Borders have a speed limit of 20mph. A number of these places are dissected by the main roads to England, A7, A68. Huge lorries trundle slowly through in a solid line of traffic that includes locals going to the shops and people on holiday going up North. By-passes are a distant dream.
Shades of Jimmy Carter and his 55 mph to save petrol.
My thought exactly as I drove through one on the way down here.
Why does Dominic Cummings talk with his hand near his mouth.. his interview with Laura K?
Forgot to brust teeth? Bad breath? Gnawing on nails?

Nice!
I see why you live there! Which loch is that?
Loch Ewe Paul – the land in the foreground is the island in the loch – Isle Ewe

Yes, there’s a jetty where the ships refuel, the tanks are buried in the hills above the depot with holding tanks above the jetty. The loch used to get full of ships from NATO during exercises but we hardly get any now

Good morning, Bob
How many young men make comments on the Nottlers’ site. I have invited my two sons to join the forum but they are not interested.
Our most revered Father of the House – Delboy36 – will very soon be Delboy 85 but who is our youngest regular Nottler?
ourmaninmunich must be a contender as he was born in August 1967 so he is 54 but is there anyone younger?
I think Thayaric might be, now the parrot has found another perch.
What about young women? Caroline must be one of the youngest……..
I get the silver medal. 1964.
But my comments aren’t worth reading anyway.

‘Morning, Korky, a further re-run of the (updated) Just So Stories.
Here’s a little irony from the BBC;
“Here we have someone advocating the use of unlicensed products, human products for use on a dog when no-one knows what the long-term consequences of that would be.”
https://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcthree/article/b6826670-5509-4268-8786-8ec1e3a670d1
‘Morning, Mola, he goes onto say, “He shouldn’t be playing around as though medicines and these potent drugs are some sort of sweeties that he can drop in and alter nature as he wants to.”
Even more irony from a BBC that advocates Covid jabs of potent drugs like they are sweeties.
The covid vaccine is completely different, as you well know. No, the BBC is not hypocritical. You are wrong. Quiet now. Statists are talking.
Notice how Boris slipped in his COVID passports into his briefing yesterday?
Seems the plan for our Great Re-Set is alive and well.
They always start with a little ask, don’t get mugged off here, this is the road to perdition, do not take a single step down it and warn everyone else. I have sensed for sometime we are being cat-fished I was waiting to see what the real move was, well it’s here.
Don’t fall for it.

Morning BA,
But surely as we have always done these last three decades we must suffer the odious consequences of the “parties” actions if we are to continue to support & vote for them.
He’s been gas lighting us for the last 16 months. One little step at a time.
Yep – the same way the native population of this island and the English in particular have been gas lighted about their racism (seems it is a sin unique to us) – the reason for the round the clock bombardment over racism by the BBC is to keep us on the backfoot.
The thing they feared the most after Brexit was us asking the very reasonable question – why is mass immigration being forced upon us? Not a single one of us was asked if wanted it.
Oh – and if the British are so racist according to you then you have to accept your attempt to build a multi cultural society was a stupid idea and by your own admission doomed to failure.
They’ve taken us all for fools – sadly half the population has fallen for their lies and the other half can do nothing to stop this slow dissolution of our country.
We are not fools, we are a very decent people that had no warning or inkling that our establishment hated us so much.
A great crime has been visited on us, they fear Brexit because of the awkward questions that are now going to follow. Payback is coming and they know it.
And literally thousands of fighting age males have been imported, with no background checks possible.
If the people can get in so easily I’m fairly sure so can the weapons.

The PM has been reported as not wishing to institute lockdown.
There is a rationale behind that approach because lockdown instils a mindset in the population akin to the double fermentation in sparkling wines.
The result is the gradual build up of pressure over time until the cork is suddenly released.
It is recommended that the cork is held firmly and the bottle rotated slowly to maintain a controlled release of pressure.

Good morning Mr. Mac! Staying alive, I see!
There is something deeply unsettling about Nadim Zahawi.
yes, he’s still alive and in UK. Anything else I missed?

UK “Home Secretary” is the daughter of a “Ugandan/Indian” family with a

Probably in Africa. The U.S has about a thousand laboratories there.
I’ve always treated claims about eradicating smallpox with deep scepticism.
These things disappear for no apparent reasoning, and, I suspect, are just as likely to reappear under the right circumstances.
The mysterious ‘Sweating Sickness’ (possibly a severe type of flu) is recorded roughly from 1490 to the 1550s. Then it disappears from the records.
My mother had that smallpox vaccination when she was a young woman. It left a very visible scar, the size of an old sixpence, on her upper left arm which never faded.
Mine too.
But I don’t recall anyone stating that they had to have multiple attempts, nor do I recall people saying they knew lots of people who had had the disease, unlike Polio, which was still rife when I was young.
When i were but a sprog, the entire town of Brightlingsea was closed off because of a polio outbreak.
I just remember being very envious of my B’Sea based friends who had a fortnight off school during the summer term.
You wouldn’t have wanted the disease though…
At 12 or so, you don’t think things through!
I still have my SP and Polio inoculation scars from 1965
That’s because the medics smeared on some poxy liquid and then scratched it into the skin. A nasty crusted pox lesion then developed and lots of antibodies and T cells came to the rescue. Vaccination from Vacca a cow. Good old Edward Jenner harvested pus from cow’s scabs and scratched them onto his children to protect them against smallpox by giving them a little cowpox. Good innit?
I’ve had it but no scar – or else it’s faded since about 1959-60.
I had it aged 15, in 1970 and likewise still have the scar but on my upper right arm. It was mandatory then for entry to the USA.
I didn’t go to the USA for the first time until 1980. It was no longer necessary by then.
I had a very minor scar which no longer shows, but if I were to be suntanned (which I don’t) would show as a white patch.
What? You don’t go sunbathing on Mombasa beach? :•)
Certainly not! I’ve never been to Mombasa.
I remember my sister telling me that one of my nieces had had her vaccination as a child under her breast so that when she became physically mature it would not be visible. As we did not have sons we did not need to worry about that sort of thing.
I knew one child who had hers on the sole of her foot as ababy.
#Me too.

oooh! I’ve been taking 150mg Magnesium tablets from Holland and Barret. About £5 doesn’t get you many, but one a day has stopped my cramps completely.
Placebo effect? Or possibly the water you drink them with. We find tonic water helps but nothing completely eradicates it.
Tonic needs diluted with gin, I find. About 4:1.
4:1 you say.
Can you still taste the gin?
I am very fond of G&T, but generally I stick to red wine when we’re here.
That’s four Gins to one tonic !
That’s better.
Could try a sports drink like Lucozade. With potassium, Magnesium and Zinc to balance the electrolytes.
I wouldn’t drink it just before bed though unless you intend some strenuous night time activities. :@)

‘Boris Johnson: Leader or Cheerleader?’ Nigel Farage Calls on PM to ‘Show Some Leadership’ in Prime Time Debut
They are ALL tory (ino) members.
Good afternoon ogga
We agree about many things and we agree that Nigel Farage has failings.
In my view he showed a fatal weakness in withdrawing candidates from Conservative remainer held seats in the election thereby allowing a House of Commons still overpopulated with remainer MPs; I also think he lost the plot when he said, before even having had time to read the details, that the Johnson sell out trade deal with the EU was acceptable when, with a border in the Irish Sea it clearly is not. Having spent so many years as an EU MP he was staggeringly naive not to see that the EU would cheat and double-cross.
Your hatred of Farage is based on the fact that you believe that he betrayed UKIP and he can never redeem himself.
I hope he will redeem himself but first he must admit his errors openly and atone. In the meantime I thought he did quite well on GB News last night.

GOOD!
Rape is a vile offence but false and malicious complaints of rape are no less vile. The victims of both crimes have their lives ruined. I have campaigned long and hard for a number of years for both offences to be treated exactly the same with identical punishments.
To rape you’d have to find the target first – difficult in this case

Many thanks for all the best wishes yesterday, all went well, but it was such an unpleasant experience. Staff were all good humoured and fantastic. I have replied in kind to your comments.
So sorry to hear you have been through the mill re NHS stuff..
Where did they remove your lumps and bumps from , I tried to catch up re your comments to others , but feel non the wiser.
Phew , it is hot isn’t it.
I’m okay thanks TB, it was a standard procedure in the testing for bowel cancer less than two weeks after retuned my test kit, they contacted me and checked out the possible problem. I wouldn’t recommend it but absolutely fine today, I have had two very friendly phone calls this morning from the staff to check to see if I’m Okay or if I need any assistance. Surgeon removed the polyps and was happy with the immediate outcome (scuz the pun, I can’t help my self), we are just waiting for the lab report.
I really appreciate all the good wishes. 😍🤩
Hree years ago my wife had problems caused by one of those polyps thingies that burst. A very quick trip to surgery where it was removed and problems were resolved. Very scary at the time.
Good luck on the recovery, once the anesthetic wears off you should be back to normal.
One of my brother in-laws had a ruptured lower bowl recently and had to spent two weeks in hospital. The poor chap ahas a colostomy bag now, but possible reversible. The surgeon told me yesterday that if the polyps grow too large and especially at the bendy bits, they can cause serious blockage problems. I think this is what happened to B i L they have been living in Spain for about 5 years, I very much doubt if he has ever received a test kit and returned it. The kits are so much easier to use now and much more reliable. So do take part folks, we can share our experiences ………it’s so much more interesting than politics. 😉🤗
Well done.
After my Father went through a similar procedure, we found that we couldn’t stop making butt jokes… he wasn’t too pleased.
There is nothing better than arsing around.

I received an email today from Change.org asking me to sign a petition to give all NHS staff a 15% pay rise. So far, nearly 800,000 people had signed it. Well, that’s not difficult to achieve, as 1.5 million people currently work for the NHS!
Needless to say, I did not sign.

All Boris has to do is make it illegal to come here illegally without two covid jabs and a vaccine passport.
…but…but…but! that would take balls!
Nut Nut has his balls! Now she has got a permanent hold over him with Wilfred the Johnson testicles are surplus to requirements as far as she is concerned.
Hi Rstus,
Do you ever ask yourself how did we get here….?
‘Afternoon, Plum, I know my father’s family has been here since at least 1580 and on my Mother’s side, it’s traceable back to William the Bastard and before that to 530 in Uppsala in Sweden, so I don’t thing there is any particularly illegal entry. Even 1066 and all that was down to a (justifiable) invasion.
If you say so Nanny….
Well, my daddy met my mummy and fancied her something rotten …..
It’s *already* illegal to get here in that manner.
Are all those women and children (shown in the photos every day) arriving just in time for the potato-picking season?
I doubt it, why would they want to work in the land of the free?
…. land of the freebie?
They are not even running to get away from the authorities, no sense of wrong doing
Just a sense of entitlement.
Why don’t they get the ferry…?
That’s good baker’s dozen plus one by my count.
It’s time to patrol Kent’s beaches. When these wasters arrive, let’s use them as archery targets.
That’s a third of the soil I collected from t’Lad’s yesterday decanted into smaller bags & carried up the garden.
The sun’s moved round to shine directly onto where I was working, so that’s me knocked it on the head until this evening.
Too hot to be doing all that stuff, but that reminds me Bob I must replant our Basil into a larger pot, it’s out grown again the second one I put it in.
I’ve had a huge amount of herbal production this summer and many filled paper bags with clothe pegs drying the contents for winter usage.
That garden centre Carpenters has extended massively since i saw you there. They have a packed car park every time I drive past.
I’ll have to get down that way again some time.
It’ll be interesting to explore what I can of the old GNR line.
Give me a bell first Bob. I have still have your phone number on my phone, i’ll send you a text of my number just let me know on here when you might be coming.
What would be good is the Beer festival at St Albans, it’s not happened for a few years but the ale was always good.
There are two old railways lines close to us. One is known as the Nickey Line and the other use to run from Leighton Buzzard Via Luton to WGC then changed for London. One also has the old station as a historical reference.

Tony Blair’s apology for Irish famine written by aides, papers reveal. 20 July 2021.
Tony Blair’s “apology” for the Irish famine on its 150th anniversary, greeted with plaudits and hailed as a significant moment in Anglo-Irish relations at the time, was hastily written by aides because they could not reach him to approve it, newly released classified documents reveal.
“I tried to clear the principle of this with you this afternoon by telephone, but you were not around at the time. In order to meet the organisers’ deadline, therefore, and to avoid the impression of a snub, I approved the attached text off my own bat and gave it to our embassy in Dublin,” wrote Holmes.
The interesting part here is not that Blair’s aides wrote this specious “apology” for a non-existing crime, one would expect no less from him, but how come the Prime Minister of the UK can disappear from the view of his closest aides. Where exactly was he and what was he doing?

Did I tell you about when my good lady and myself were in Tuscany about 12 years ago, after our long drive through France and sight seeing tour, we had just checked in to HPB’s Stigilano. The receptionist told us that the Bliar’s had called in the day before attempting to insist they were allowed to stay over night. It was rumoured they had been staying with Burlesque Cronie and for some unknown reason had decided to leave earlier than planned. One could have many differing but one directional opinions on that one.

Coercion? Anti-Lockdown MP Warns UK ‘Moving to Compulsory Vaccination’
Here is an article from The Grimes by the usually very smug and irritating Hugo Rifkind. However, today, he is spot on.
It’s like the Soviet traffic system. It’s a Zil lane. Just as you once got to dodge the Ladas as a member of the Politburo, so you now get to dodge the interminable Ping Cycle as a member of the British cabinet.
Or at least, you did. At 8.01am on Sunday, Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak were participants in a pilot scheme which meant they didn’t have to isolate after sniffing Sajid Javid, perhaps on the top of his head like people do with babies, but by 10.38am they weren’t.
What is this pilot scheme? I wonder if it’s the same one that allowed Michael Gove to dodge isolation after getting pinged on a trip to Portugal in May to watch the Champions League final. On the radio yesterday, the vaccine minister Nadhim Zahawi insisted that other organisations such as Heathrow airport were on it, too, raising the exciting possibility that it might be a pilot scheme with actual pilots on it. Still, with about half a million people isolating in this United Pingdom of ours, and with the PM living in his own workplace anyway, did Downing Street truly not realise how it would look? Who is flying this plane?
The aesthetics of a prime minister in isolation on Freedom Day are, of course, not super. It’s like announcing the end of a war while wearing a gas mask. “This plague of mice is over!” shrieks Boris Johnson, while standing on a stool in his kitchen and gathering his skirts.
As for whether it’s reasonable to insist that the two most powerful people in the country must be subject to exactly the same hassles as everybody else, I must admit I’m in two minds. Over in South Africa, you might have noticed, Jacob Zuma is currently facing charges which include the allegation that he effectively embezzled an entire village complete with a helipad. And next to that, “privileged access to a pilot scheme so you can still go to the office” doesn’t sound like the worst thing in the world.
The thing is, a lot of other recent scandals don’t sound like the worst thing in the world, either. You’ve probably forgotten about the hoo-haa over who paid for the PM’s 2019 holiday in Mustique, and why whoever it was didn’t seem to know they’d done it, but in précis, worse things happen in Moscow. See also the Johnsons’ mysteriously funded home decor, which is probably only the worst thing in the world if you have a migraine and have to look at it. Priti Patel bullying her staff and getting away with it? Hey, nobody died.
On matters more Covid, Dominic Cummings’s driving to Barnard Castle didn’t sound like the worst thing in the world, and nor did any of that steady stream of stories about how all those Covid contracts were signed off, and with whom. Nor did Matt Hancock’s office petting sound like the worst thing in the world, unless you literally had to listen to it, in which case I imagine it probably did.
Worst thing in the world or not, though, all of these things have the same flavour as Sunday’s attempt to betray the Fellowship of the Ping. They represent a refusal to be constrained by what all the other mugs still innocently believe are the rules. Or, to put it more bluntly, a willingness, wherever possible, to cheat.
“We can spend the next ten minutes talking about this, or . . .” said Zahawi in exasperation yesterday. “What your listeners will want to hear about is . . .” Johnson himself does the same thing often, affecting great weariness that he should have to bother with whatever it is that some annoying journalist is telling him that the latest scandal ought to be. “That’s not where the public are,” he said, when asked if he’d really said that he’d let bodies “pile high” rather than introduce another lockdown.
The “nobody is interested in this” defence was ubiquitous from ministers in response to the wallpaper story, to the extent that some would virtually smirk while delivering it. People keep voting for us, they’d say. Check the polls. Nobody cares.
What it means, though, is that this government has given itself a flavour, and that flavour is one of impunity. I don’t think that’s an unreasonable thing to say.
We remember Margaret Thatcher saying “We have become a grandmother” because it epitomised the monarchical grandiosity which would go on to ruin her. In a similar vein, we remember the Major government’s weird sex, and Tony Blair confusing himself with Jesus, and Gordon Brown throwing things and getting us into debt. And we will remember the Johnson government trying to get away with things. Over and again. It is what they do.
I hate “nobody is interested in this”. I hate “the public doesn’t care”. I hate it because of what it coyly admits, which is “we, the government don’t care, because we don’t have to”. According to Johnson, he and Sunak “did look briefly at the idea” of dodging quarantine, before concluding that it wasn’t the right thing to do. Only that’s just brazen rubbish, isn’t it? They were going to do it because they could, and they changed their minds because they belatedly realised that the ubiquitous defence of “the public doesn’t care” suddenly wouldn’t work, because the public did.
A year and a half of “trusting the science” makes it too easy to forget that this is a government forged in populist fires. Loath as I am to rake over old wounds, it is worth remembering that before there was Covid, and lockdown, and data, and graphs, there was instead an unconcealed disdain for parliament, courts, expertise, conventions, expectations, watchdogs, regulators, the rule of law and basically anything else that stood in the way of the crassest possible interpretation of majority will. This is Johnsonism. It is doing whatever you want, whenever you can get away with it. And it will get ugly. Wait and see.
I had no need be put in my externally aspirated baby gas mask device after the Germans unconditionally surrended at the end of WWII:
https://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/germany-surrenders-unconditionally-to-the-allies-at-reims
Unfortunately the COVID-19 virus cannot be compelled to surrender on the same terms to end a global conflict.
However the stirrup pump came in handy in hot weather.
Gosh – stirrup pumps – how tremendously useful they were AFTER the war – in the garden.
My parents had one – specularly unsuccessful – practice run trying to put me in one.

Well as the average age of death by covid at 82.4 years is higher than the average age of death from other cause at 81.5 years, it’s a fair point to make joke or not.
If the imbecile in No10 was caught joking about how he was going to destroy the economy, education, travel and hospitality, create an NHS backlog of 6 million operations, cause death from undiagnosed cancer for millions, close GP surgeries, destroy several million jobs and stop anyone leaving the country all over a virus that statistically only killed people already dying of something else that were already in there 80s, no doubt the media would cheer him on.
I haven’t yet seen the science that proves that COVID-19 viruses follow bluetooth signals through walls.
“If you ask me whether any Bluetooth contact tracing system deployed or under development, anywhere in the world, is ready to replace manual contact tracing, I will say without qualification that the answer is, no.”
https://theintercept.com/2020/05/05/coronavirus-bluetooth-contact-tracing/
Bluetooth measures distance by measuring the time delay, not the signal strength. You can assess distance to an accuracy of a few centimetres with approriate Bluetooth application software. That article is misinformed as well as being ill informed.

Because some of the people are like some that I met when canvassing for UKIP (in days of yore). I woud get a response “I’m not interested in politics”. When I then asked “But do you vote?” I would get “yeah of course”, as they walked away.

UK needs ‘free speech’ law to halt woke bullying and cancel culture, says Laurence Fox
– Employers should not be able to sack workers for speaking their minds
– Social media companies should be barred from censoring lawful speech
– Police should be banned from policing tweets
A right to freedom of expression should be enshrined in UK law to counter the rising tide of “cancel culture” and other forms of woke-inspired censorship and discrimination, according to a detailed new report from Laurence Fox’s Reclaim Party. It comes as the government propose an ‘Online Safety Bill’ which would require social media companies to censor ‘harmful’ speech that might offend adults, even if no criminal offence was committed.
The report In Protection of Freedom of Speech proposes three key reforms designed to give UK citizens the same protection as the First Amendment to the US Constitution:
1. The police should lose the power to investigate so-called “non-crime hate incidents” and the Scottish Hate Crime Bill should be scrapped
2. Websites should be prevented from censoring content posted by users unless a criminal offence or civil wrong is committed
3. Employers should no longer be able to sack people for their speech
Commenting on the 50-page report drawn up for Reclaim, Mr Fox, the party’s leader, warns that free speech in Britain is under unprecedented attack.
“Never before have I seen such suppression of free speech, such censoring of perfectly moderate opinion, and perhaps most perniciously, the censorship of the self. New speech codes – vocabulary, syntax, pronouns, etc – are forced into everyday parlance.
“Gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, the definitions of gender, climate change, Covid decisions, vaccinations, decisions taken by the NHS, national identity and British history – can no longer be debated openly in this country.
“Established scientific fact is thrown aside to serve ideological goals. De facto blasphemy laws are bought in by baying mobs. Grievance culture has replaced enterprise and ambition. Victimhood is lionised. Heroism is cowardice. Flags are symbols of nationalist aggression and hate. War is peace, freedom is slavery etc.
“There is a war being waged on language, and our right to use it, as every single day those who seek offence anywhere find offence everywhere.
“The meanings of our words are twisted and turned until they get stuck in the mouth for fear of the repercussions.
“The speech police are merciless in their service. We are no longer individuals, with individual thoughts, hopes and dreams, we are objects divided into groups based around immutable characteristics that we can never change. The value of our opinions depends not on the quality of them, rather where in the hierarchy of this new victimhood we sit.”
The independent report was written for the Reclaim Party by barrister Francis Hoar and contains a foreword by former Supreme Court judge and historian Lord Sumption. Lord Sumption warns that when the state or its agencies are given monopoly control over knowledge, society is on the road to despotism.
Such censorship is also “culturally destructive” because only by allowing the free clash of opinions and evidence can false ideas be demolished and true ones verified – as was seen when scientists courted heresy and disproved the orthodox medieval belief that the sun went round the earth.
The report outlines why the Online Safety Bill is a dangerous means by which the state can force censorship on social media companies based on the nebulous concept of ‘harm’ to an adult, even if no criminal offence is committed; and calls for the Bill to be opposed outright.
This point is reinforced by Mr Fox, who says that the suppression of freedom of speech is dangerous.
“The vicious tool used to ensure only certain ideas are discussed is the ever-growing rise of cancel culture: any individual who doesn’t subscribe to the prevailing ‘orthodoxy’ is denounced, bullied, piled on through social media, fired from their job and removed from polite society by the marauding moral supremacist mobs, who stalk Twitter and other social media platforms in search of opinion offenders.”
He cites the Batley Grammar School case, where a teacher was hounded out of his job and forced into hiding by local protesters for showing his class cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed, as an example of where a law intended to protect religious belief was distorted into the effective imposition of religious belief.
Mr Fox adds: “If that distortion weren’t concerning enough, the licence these groups are taking with their protected status faces no challenge.
“Why? Because of cancel culture: the threat of public shaming and losing one’s position, job and livelihood is weaponised to the point that no one is prepared to stand up to a mob from any of these protected groups anymore.”
As for #1, if it is “non-crime” what the h*ll are the police involved for anyway.
That, as they say, is the $64,000 question, Dukke.
Having said that, not all traditional police work involves crime. Traffic laws are not crime; and licensing laws, shotgun certificates, point duty, schools’ liaison, council meetings, road safety, and a thousand other police duties have nothing to do with solving crime.
True, but was non-crime hate mail officially designated as within the police’s “duty”? Slander and libel aren’t, and they can be far more damaging. Police state here we are. Not here we come…

Back from a quick shopping exped – Sainsbury have a notice saying wearing a mask is now a matter of choice but please wear one! We didn’t, but were very much in the minority, which was disappointing – the Commie propaganda Tsarina on SAGE must be delighted!
Thankfully, all the wobbly plastic screens have gone from ours. Even that makes the place seem a bit more free.
Dental appointment this morning, masks still required, perhaps not unreasonable as the vulnerable still need their teeth maintained, the same with GP’s and hospitals I imagine, vulnerable people likely to be found there as well. Not a big deal for me, these vulnerable people have enough to worry about and if I need to wear a mask for an hour or two a few times a year, so be it.
Afterwards I walked to our local Post Office, tucked away in the back of a convenience store, half the customers were without a mask, same for the staff working there.
I suspect when the sheep discover “millions dead” didn’t happen attitudes may change.
You didn’t hear the Jeremy Vine show on the BBC.
Great epidemic looming, thousands will be hospitalised shortly.
Gosh! …….and in under 35 hours. This variant does move fast!
I never listen to Jeremy Whine – absolutely awful presenter, no wonder the BBC like him!
I find him dripping wet.
A bit of a Harry, then?
Oi! Why have you downvoted me?!
We want screens to stay up this winter.
Then no one catches ‘flu from the staff, or gives ‘flu to the staff.
Otherwise the ‘flu will be identified as yet another variant, and we’ll be into yet another lockdown.
[Except The Elite of course, they are exempt].
Only the screens around the self-service tills. All the rest are in place.
PS Since the mass expulsions of earlier in the year, down-voting is frowned upon…
I gave up on the BBC years ago.
How does the dentist manage to get at your teeth if you are masked?
Anally?
Through the nose is closer…
Edit: after all, Egyptians used to pick their rulers’ brains like that. Especially after they were dead.

🤣I visited Great Yarmouth a few years back. I thought I’d stepped through a time portal. All the shops were exactly the same as they had been when I visited as a nipper in the 1950s . They were selling the same crap and they were playing the same music!
Was there in 1993 for helicopter survival course.
Exactly the same.
Nowt but keg beer, too.
That wouldn’t be Petans by any chance? They have a state-of-the-art helicopter survival facility at Norwich Airport.
I think so. t was a while ago now… helicopter and firefighting.
Everyone else in my family have told me that they will still be wearing a mask as they Don’t Feel Safe. Gah!

I am having a siesta at the moment, alone in my first floor bedroom and to all intents and purposes I could be self isolating here.
I do have a Bluetooth® Low Energy app that works on the RSSI signal strength – the same as the NHS COVID app.
There are two builders working next door in the garden and at least one contract gardner in the other neighbour’s garden – I reckon the range to be about 10 metres.
Here is what my BLE detector allows my simless tablet to connect with:

I leave it to your imagination as to the consequences of this level of connectivity.
Well, you don’t have to imagine it – it’s already happening.
Anyone who installs the Track and Trace App unless they have to, is an eejit. Uninstalling it if already installed is a no-brainer.
The idealistic easy to scare younger generation are the ones most likely to have the Trick or Treat App.
As we age we become more cynical.
I think I heard somewhere that once installed, it can’t be uninstalled. Anyone else heard that?
I don’t care, because I don’t have it. MOH has it on his work phone, but hasn’t switched it on…
Wouldn’t surprise me.
I guarantee that I would find a way to get rid of it!
I get people walking past our house on the pavement on my computer if I scan for Bluetooth devices! Or people waiting in traffic jams.

The executive was interviewing a young blonde for a position in his company. He wanted to find out something about her personality so he asked, “If you could have a conversation with any person, living or dead, who would that be?”
The blonde quickly responded, “The living one.”

Just back from a nice lunch in the sunshine.
Gambas, Calamares, Patatas Bravas, bread and spicy olives. All washed down with two very large Vodkatinis. hic.

The United States has approved the purchase of a new batch of the Russian-made RD-181M space rocket engines, a spokesman for the Russian space agency Roscosmos, Vladimir Ustimenko, said on Tuesday.
“The US government has approved the contract between NPO Energomash [Roscosmos subsidiary] and US Orbital Sciences LLC company. This means that there will be new supplies of engines and new launches of American rockets with Russian ‘hearts’,” Ustimenko said on Telegram.
Now,you’ll say to yourself..”why don’t the Americans just reverse-engineer one and produce them .
They’ve tried and failed…they couldn’t machine the exotic metals to the required tolerances.
Hence the new purchases announced today.
Yes the worlds best Rocket Engines made in that country that doesn’t make anything!
Largest exporter of farm machinery to Europe.
Another one to add to the list.
Fuelled by Novichock.

Poor Jeremy. Difficult in these trying times to find anyone to do the spade work. They have all sloped off.
The series on Amazon was interesting. Good on Clarkson for making it.
In between the buffoon acts, it was very clear what a difficult job it is, with so many problems outwith the farmer’s control – weather, world economics, beetles, government inteference, and also how much hard work there is and how much money needs poured in.
We see this with Firstborn’s smallholding, and he grows about 350 acres of grass, trees, and two pigs, so not exactly testing, you’d have thought. But the workload is endless, and the income from the farm inadequate to support one man without he works in a full-time job elsewhere.
350 acres is a smallholding?
It certainly costs a lot to run a farm nowadays. Grain harvest has started in these parts, I looked at combine prices on the John Deere website and they are up around $600,000 each. No wonder they run the combines almost 24 hours a day.
The smallholding bit relates to that it could support one (large-ish) family. Subsistence farming supplemented by external income.
It’s mostly trees, scree and cliffs. Only about 1/5th is tillable, and that’s rented to the local dairy farmer to grow silage and run his cattle on.

The problem with collective ownership of the machine is that everybody needs it at the same time, so it works like a bastard for 2 to 4 weeks, then sits idle the rest of the year.
Contractors do the work for the smaller farmers but as you say they all need the work done at the same time. The combines are often driven along farm roads to another field or to another farmer’s field. It is a dangerous time on the rural roads as they take up most of the road.
Worked two summers as vacation student on a mixed dairy & arable farm. That was hard work, but at 19, you soon get fit & strong. Wish I was like that now! :-((
We’d have a competition with the combine – who could get the longest tailback!
Israel warns of ‘severe consequences’ after Ben & Jerry’s bans the sale of its ice cream in Israeli-occupied territories following pressure from pro-Palestine groups. 20 July 2021.
The ice cream brand said yesterday the sale of its products in the territories sought by the Palestinians are ‘inconsistent with our values’.
Israel’s prime minister Naftali Bennett said he has spoken with Unilever CEO Alan Jope about the ‘glaring anti-Israel measure’ and said he would react aggressively against any boycotts.
The Israeli’s are objecting to being denied the advantages of eating Obese creating Type 2 Diabete’s inducing ice cream? Why? If this is anti-Semitism bring it on!

Ben & Jerry is disgusting ice cream. Sickly.
Besides…I thought they were of the Jewish persuasion themselves.
Its only a brand name.Owned by Unilever.
Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield. Hmmmm.
They sold out bigtime to the corporates didn’t they…
It’s like all bland Yank food. Hershey Bars are 0·5% cocoa and 99% sugar. Utterly inedible.
Yank cheese (choice between ‘American’ and ‘Monterey Jack’) is as exciting to eat as soap.
Hershey Bars. Full of hoof and sweetened sawdust.
What is more, Hershey chocolate costs more at their outlet store than it does in a normal corner shop. Not just poor quality, a rip off as well.
There is a Suchard are outlet just a bit further down I81, a classier and less commercialized place to visit.
Afternoon Phizz. Yes it looks repulsive in those tubs. Like edible sick. I never eat it and I’m not Jewish either!
Urgh… too much detail!
Good afternoon, Minty.
Speaking off minty…i bought a mint choc chip ice cream on my way home. It was very nice but it was full on cream and you couldn’t taste the mint or the chocolate.
This is a major failing of cooking in the U.S. Add cream to everything to make it luxurious but what it actually does is mask the flavour.
And NEVER look at the list of ingredients required to make the “cream”…..
This was proper local cow cream. It did moo a lot being shaken about so much.
Cream out of a spray can is the worst and often the most unhygienic.
I found that with cakes in Germany and Austria. Very rich but quite bland.
Perhaps you ate in the wrong places.

Sold out to Unilever about 20 years ago.
They are of the hideously virtue-signalling persuasion.

Just had a pint of excellent IPA, at proper strength (8%), and brewed in English style (ie. it tastes of hops and fruit, not the US style of far too much hop), but it’s given me the most appalling gas – more wind and gurgles than a German flood… I fear for the immediate future.

Funny you should mention that the Hull’s bottom is due to be scraped at the end of August…..
How maddening – we’ll all be locked down – again – then…
Hull’s bottom was scraped years ago and the dregs sent inland to Bradford, Barnsley, Bolton and other centres of social garbage as a punishment for centuries of white oppression.

I have been thinking about electric propulsion. In terms of practicalities I think you would need a lightweight marine grade aluminium hull. one or two smallish Lynch Electric motors a hefty Lithium Battery bank (as these permit deep discharge). Cabin roof and both sides maximum array of solar panels and a compact well insulated diesel generator to top up the batteries if required for a longer journey or a no-show Sun day….

Laura Kuensberg interviewing Dominic Cummings at 7pm on BBC 2 TV. Inflammatory stuff. From snippets on Radio 4 news they were planning to depose BJ after the General Election and resolution of Brexit as they did not consider him fit for PM. An opinion shared by some NOTTLERS including me. The programme will coincide with NF’s programme so I shall be watching NF.
Who was going to be the replacement?
One must be careful what one wishes for…
Carrion.
Only two acceptable : John Redwood and Owen Paterson. I once thought that Steve Baker would fit the bill but he went off the boil.
Patterson was a disappointment as Environment.
Redwood seems to improve with age.
Paterson is my MP. I am not impressed.
I have arrived at the conclusion that they are all self-serving, arrogant, out-of-touch, troughing wanqueurs.
I always thought Paterson was good as Environment, of course I formed that opinion as Call Me Dave sacked him.
In my mind being sacked by Camoron was a badge of honour.
Think I’ll give it a miss….
Cummings talks with his hand near his mouth… don’t like that .

HAPPY HOUR – After you Cllr Hinchliff …..
A WELSH councillor suggested that “everyone should be cremated and thrown in the sea” as a solution to increasing burial plot demands.
https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/1464733/Frisk-llandudno-north-wales-cremated-cemetery-debate-conwy-council
Why bother with the cremation ?
It’s a burning issue.
Ei’d agree on this particular day.
‘Sky burials’ probably more eco friendly…..
Muslims are buried with ceremony. Perhaps their dead are adding to the number of burials. I don’t think they would agree with the Welsh Councillor
Due to Sharia Law, the followers of the RoP will never accept cremations, but perhaps a compromise might be reached. If it could be arranged that muslims be interred in the craters of live volcanoes it would surely be an eco-friendly, space-conserving solution to the disposal of their cadavers, while at the same time respecting Islamic requirements for burial.
And if the presiding imam, together with the assembled mourners, were to be wiped-out by a sudden eruption or pyroclastic flow, that would be a bonus.
Do as they do in Switzerland, bury them standing up and, 75 years later, if there are no living relatives, up they come and the bones are thrown into the charnel house.
As a parish priest said who told me that tale, “Come the resurrection there will be major fights over whose bones are whose.”
The increase in the need for burial plots is a Muslim problem … send their bodies back to where they originated from .. Leave our land alone .
No, Maggie, it’s our problem – caused by Muslims.
In some cases – why wait for the dying bit?

As for space – just above the clouds is hardly space. If they’d nipped off around Mars I’d be impressed. As it is, a really big trampoline would probably do the same for these fellows.

Oh – I was just guessing – because the two different types of bame loathe each other.
Phew! just done a 3rd stint of humping soil up to the garden and thus had another dip in the cold and increasingly murky bath. That’s over 3/4 of the stuff I picked up from t’Lad’s yesterday shifted and spread out.
Going to wait until a bit later and get the bags that are left decanted into smaller bags ready for humping them up tomorrow.
I think I deserve another mug of tea!
Er , do you have a nice long deep bath , Bob.
Have you ever considered the prospect of installing a shower?

Yes.
No.

I can’t remember the last time I had a bath.

That’s me for this sultry day. Became cloudier in the afternoon and thunder rolled about 20 miles away. It may rain a bit during the night. Another sunny day in prospect.
The MR is out at a church meeting about a new incumbent which is scheduled to last for TWO HOURS. In the old days, a small group would have a fifteen minute chat. So I’ll have a quiet drink and catch up on a boys’ film The Odessa File – I saw half the last evening she was away!
A demain.
My favourite Forsyth.
I was given the book once by a friend who chose it for me because my father’s family came from Odessa. Doh!
When filmed, the song on the soundtrack was sung by Perry Como and written by Tim Rice. One of the very best Christmas songs.
Just make it up as you go along.
The virus that can tell the time and assess an attendance…
ID2020 was the goal all along, being brought in under the guise of vaxx passports.
Last weekend was fine. On Friday we went in the car, with the top down, to Jedburgh to look at stuff in an auction. We’d parked in the Co-op car park as the sun beat down. As we got back to the car before going into the Co-op there was a similar car parked next to our and the lady driver was loading her shopping into the boot. We started talking about the cars. She had had the same model as us – hers was a newer model – and we talked about winter storage and holidays. She mentioned that the lack of HGV drivers meant that the shop was half empty. She also told us about a large group of lads who had gone to Wembley for the football and had fun, as well as catching Covid. This was the first time we knew of anyone actually having the disease.
On Saturday we did little. However, our eldest went to Edinburgh to join in with Wuthering Edinburgh, where a couple of hundred ladies, and one or two men, dressed up as Kate Bush and danced around in Holyrood Park. Just for Fun.
Sunday was wonderful.
We left the village to go to the shops in Hawick and passed the big gyppo Horse Fair on the village green. Maybe around 200 vehicles, twenty traditional Romany caravans and lots of horses and jaunting cars. (On Monday they had all vanished. Nothing left on the green other than about 30 portaloos, and these vanished this morning.)
As we rolled along to Hawick, sun blazing and the top down, we were behind a few cars as the road was a bit busy. Then from behind came the thunderous roar of big motorbikes at speed. The bikes sped past, weaving in and out. There was traffic coming the other way but the bikes barely slowed, nipping into spaces between cars and out again. I moved closer to the side and slowed down to create a bigger space for them to manoeuvre into and out of. Then they were past. Travelling at between 90 and 100mph according to my guess. What fun! Shades of yesterday! I remembered going round the TT course on the Isle of Man on a bike on Mad Sunday in 1968. It was loud, and completely uncontrolled. Blast from the past.
We did some shopping in ALDI and Lidl and returned home. The Horse Fair was in full swing.
That evening I watched the Tour de France arrive in Paris for the sprint finish on the Champs Elysees. Would Mark Cavendish break the record of Eddy Merckx by winning a 35th stage? I hoped so. It would be wonderful. And yet, I had not picked Cavendish for my fantasy team as I thought that he was not going to do well. (Big Mistake!). In the last few metres to the line Van Aert was in front and Cavendish was boxed in, he’d lost the wheel of his lead out man and was on the wheel of Van Aert, but no room had been left to overtake.
So Van Aert won the final stage.
However, Van Aert was in my team and I won the overall game by one point with, as it turned out, the lowest points total in the 25 year history of the game. Had Cavendish won I would not have done. Rather poignant.
A good weekend.
Today I popped into a barber’s in Melrose. My usual hairdresser is off sick and I’ve been postponing action. But my cheap Braun “designed in Germany” beard trimmer had ceased to work and I needed to be tidied up.
I had a very interesting conversation with the barber. He’d been in the Guards, trained as a sniper, taken part in 3 wars, including Iraq, and received one commendation. Tattooed to the eyeballs. Did a good job on my beard as well. He asked me what the highlight of my day was? “This is it”, I replied, “unless you count the visit to the bottle bank”.
He told me I should get out more. He’s right.

Sniper cut, eh?
Different, I guess.
You know what they say: Never run from a British Army sniper – you’ll only die tired!
Did they catch Covid or did they test positive? Substantial difference.
I don’t know. It was a casual chat in a car park, badly recounted by me. Just a few caught Covid. Maybe the lady did not know the details.

I suppose in this day and age that can no longer be called a heron……
It seems oblivious to the sound of a passing boat but then that could be because it’s standing on its heron aid!
Ouch!
It could hardly be mistaken for a herondelle.
That’s hard to swallow.
Nice! To get that close to a heron…
They ain’t shy in a cold winter if you’re dead-baiting for pike. They’ll sidle up and steal your smelt or sardine baits.
Many of us are aware of several sneaky changes from the promised fuller lockdown that were announced at yesterday’s No 10 briefing.
However there was an admission that I have not seen aired in the MSM.
That is that the NHS COVID app becomes less reliable as the ping rate increases no doubt because of the excessive number of false interpretation of pings.
This suggests that it is even less useful as a last ditch post lockdown tool in allaying the progress of the COVID-19 virus than it was before.
We await further revelations with baited breath (unless of course that you believe masks will help stop the viral progress).
Goodnight all.
Just in from a particularly pleasant meal.
The only thing that detracted from the evening was looking at congenital bloody idiots wearing masks; hanging down from one ear, or worn over their elbows, or under their chins.
For goodness sake, you morons, take the bloody things off entirely, the view is enough to make a pig sick.
Aren’t they still mandatory in France?
Not womandatory?
Not entirely.
On when being seated, off when having sat down.
Idiocy of the first water.
That was the rule here till yesterday.

Evening B3,
Bout 300 sobs a day I would say.
Missed reading you lot. not died but won’t be able to post much. so please dont expect much.
Hi Walter, may you enjoy better health from now on!
ta
What’s been the problem, Walter?
spine among other things blue lighted in wed morning pain horrendous morphine from para medic blood pressure was 203 over 139 at least my blood vessels arent leaking!!!!! then ambulance had to come 20 miles
You poor bugger. Prognosis?
Eventually they think i will die = = hahaaaaaaa aaaarrrgghh thud
Good to keep a sense of humour, Walter. KBO and get better at your own rate.
That’ll get all of us.
Oof! Not fun. Take it easy, let us know you’re OK when you’re ready. No stress…
But be sure we’re thinking of you, and concerned that you are OK..
Shocking , please take care , and try not to worry .
Did you have a terrible spasm in your back , hope they are treating your pain . Severe pain plays hell with B/P.
Difficult for you, but I expect you have a few chuckles at the comments on here .. Be careful x
It’s horrible when you’re the one in the vehicle making the siren noise.
You will find the ambulance was making the noise not walter!
I have had to follow the ambulance that was rushing my wife to the regional hospital, it really strikes home when you see the lights and hear the siren.
Now, there’s stress!
Had to do it twice, it is definitely not an experience that I want to repeat.
Had to do it twice, it is definitely not an experience that I want to repeat.
Nothing worse than back pain, apart from a kick in the nuts, I suppose.
SWMBO had bloods like that the day before Firstborn was born. Scared the f***ing shit out of me, so it did.
I was called to Crawley hospital (she had pre-eclampsia) at 07:30 Sunday – she was “asking for me” – but, there’s a patient phone, that she didn’t ring…
Drove like a man posessed – had a GTi Golf, hit over 120 MPH on the bypass, had the headlights on full beam. Arrived at hspital, managed to turn the engine off, but otherwise abandoned the car outside the door to materrnity. Rushed up there, and she was being treated – the only thing I could think of was to get into bed beside her, hug her, and we went to sleep. BP sorted (hers, anyhow).
Next day, caesarian. As usual, I was bloody useless, just marching up & down outside until a determined baby voiced his disapproval.
It turned out well. The prem baby is now a huge bloke, forked ginger beard, and highly competent.
My job is done.
“…forked ginger beard…”
Sweyn? :•)
Dark red. Can be scary until you know he’s a pussycat. I’d not like to cross him, though.
Best stay away from the news for a while, that doesn’t normally help bp.
Good to know you’re still with us, Walter.
Take it easy, man. Hope you’re mended soon. But, anyhow, relax!
Take care and get well soon Walter ☺
Thinking of you Walter, and sending all my good wishes and love for a very speedy recovery! 💕

Gates and Soros have now bought the company making and distributing the lateral flow tests. Crap diagnostic test = false positives = cases = more vaccines = more profit for these disgusting freaks.
The sooner those two buy the farm and are buried there, the better.
Goodnight all Nottlers. Bedtime music: All About That Bass – Postmodern Jukebox European Tour Version. Meghan Trainor’s “All About That Bass,” in the style of PMJ ft. Kate Davis, of course. Not only does it feature vocalists Haley Reinhart, Morgan James, and Ariana Savalas rocking some Andrews Sisters- style harmonies, but it also features a sweet four hand bass solo by Casey Abrams and Adam Kubota.

Happy Birthday, young man!
Just watched the Bezos moonshot. The capsule containing Bezos and his friends was in fact the helmet of the phallus. This detached and fell back to Earth while the rocket section did the same and was recoverable. The plus side of this is that little debris was left polluting space as the rocket section was recoverable for reuse.
I do not consider these stunts (Branson) are particularly exceptional. Other real astronauts performed the same in the early 60’s without the benefit of billions skimmed from the users of Amazon or Virgin.
Edit: Space tourism could only ever be for the mega rich. Mind you, following this Covid Scam there will be a few thousand new billionaires with money to waste. These include Pharma CEO’s and shareholders, corrupt politicians, those invested in ‘vaccine’ patents, politicians the world over bribed by the Davos set and the world’s bankers.
Good night and God bless to all my fellow NoTTLers. ‘Til the morning’s light.
The wheels are falling off the Biden presidential wagon. ‘One wheel on my wagon but I keep rolling along’ Biden. The White House has admitted colluding with Facebook in order to require the cancelling of anything disagreeable to the Biden presidency.
We all knew that the MSM are corrupt but the admission by the White House that they are actively colluding with Facebook (and presumably others) is damning.
It would be damning in an unbiased court, but they own the courts.

I watched Gary Oldman as Churchill last night giving his “fight them on the beaches” speech (which I’m told was not actually broadcast at the time and only recorded by Churchill in 1948 on a Ampex tape recorder (stolen from the Telefunken factory as part of Operation Paperclip). Oldman’s delivery is magnificent in its language and crafting, although I must admit his comments to his Party and opposition leaders that were never reported until long after the war that “If this long island story of ours is to end at last, let it end only when each one of us lies choking in his own blood upon the ground,”
When one sees another 550 invaders arriving on Monday to bring this year’s total to 8000 (known) and the, yes 60,000 being processed, Winston’s words may have been a prophecy https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/7353d6bf9f894b8cea39ae653ffc90694c3b0b412d2a8da39ff0beeaeadec336.png as it was declared a “crisis” by Tories in 2018
