Morning everyone.
Good morning. Thought some of the desperadoes might be on here early!

Good Morning Geoff and all,
Looks like The Donald may get his return
Today's Tale
The Evangelist settled into his motel room after a busy day of rousing, table-thumping delivery of his message to the public. Before heading downstairs for a nightcap, he flipped idly through the Gideon Bible which sat on his bedside table, as indeed it does in every motel room throughout the world.
Downstairs in the bar he soon formed a chatty association with the barmaid, and, with his usual gift of the gab, invited her to his room for a blessing. A few more drinks and hands-on healing and it wasn’t long before they were getting into a very ticklish situation.
“Are you sure this is all right,” giggled the barmaid. “You are a man of the cloth.”
He reassured her, “It is permissible, my child. It is written in the Bible,” after which he proceeded to have his way with her.
Whilst enjoying a post-coital cigarette, the barmaid turned to him and said, “Show me – where is it written in the Bible that it was all right to do what we did?”
Whereupon he picked up the Bible, turned to the inside cover and showed her the passage written there: “The downstairs barmaid is a certainty.”
Well I avoided the news for 48 hours due to the nauseous MSM coverage of Kamala's coronation as one of the great politicians of our time. Not quite working out is it. Have the Democrats lost their touch in helping vote counts?
I think it's been set up for Trump to win. I don't believe the assassination attempt was real (the first one), but it elevated Trump to walking on water status.
2025 is the most dangerous year, because it's the peak of the solar cycle when people have more energy, and when most wars are started. Trump has already promised unconditional support to Israel – let us hope that support won't involve plunging the world into WW3 by attacking Iran. I suppose we will know soon enough if they ramp up the anti-Iran propaganda. It'll be a miracle if we get through 2025 without getting dragged into a hot war.
Best case scenario, Trump, Musk, RFK et al manage the financial reset and lead the US into the new era with nothing worse than short-lived economic turmoil. Let us hope and pray for the best.
Interesting hypothesis!
But it suggests that Trump hired a superbly accurate sharpshooter to wait until he (Trump) momentarily moved a fraction of an inch to his left before firing with incredible accuracy at his right earlobe. Pull the other one, BB2.
Elsie, I agree with you totally.
But how to pick a sharpshooter who would know with 99% certainty that once he had fired his miracle shot, the Secret Service 'guards' who let him take the shot would shoot him dead, so that no details of the setup would come out.
I suppose there IS a precedent with Lee Harvey Oswald*, shot by Jack Ruby in 1963.
*President John F Kennedy's assassin, for those whose history doesn't go back very far.
Which reminds me …

No MiB, reports indicate that Pennsylvania, one of the swing states, both had
fires at polling stations, and a complete lock out at one.
Still showing Trump marginally ahead there though
And he's won it!
Links?
Pennsylvania I meant
And the DT this morning is trying to blame Russia for a series of bomb threats in swing states!
I'm wondering if the democrats lost deliberately, why field a person like Harris who was so unsuitable for high office. To much of a mess for them to tidy up?

money for retired miners….Stephen Webb.
“Rachel Reeves confirmed in the Budget the manifesto commitment to transfer £1.5bn of surplus in the mineworkers’ pension scheme to be paid out to members to “keep our promise” to “working people”. This commitment was not costed in the manifesto. It none the less represents foregone income, which could have reduced the need for some of the additional taxes announced in the Budget. It is similar, for example, to the total revenue expected over this Parliament from the inheritance tax changes on agricultural property – due to rise from £265m in 2026-27 to more than £500m per year by 2029-30.
I would argue the move is not justified in its own terms, and a strange priority for spending, particularly given the recently published cost estimates for net zero investment and the outcry over the inheritance tax changes we have seen from the farming industry in recent days.
When British Coal was split up and privatised in the 1990s, there were fewer than 20,000 working miners left but a huge pension fund covering hundreds of thousands of beneficiaries, most retired. The companies that bought what was left of the coal industry were not financially robust enough to stand behind the pensions schemes and their liabilities.
The decision was made instead to make the new companies responsible only for pensions for future service, while placing the responsibility for paying pensions due to past workers, and for those pre-privatisation, with two legacy schemes.
The government and the trustees of these schemes agreed to establish a government guarantee. Any future surpluses generated by the pension funds would be held until it was clear they would not be needed to plug any subsequent losses. At a point when it was prudent to do so, the windfall could be distributed evenly between the beneficiaries and the government. In the event of the funds falling into deficit, the government guaranteed to inject money to ensure liabilities were met in full.
As it happens, the Government has not needed to inject any money. Significant surpluses have been generated, partly as a result of the ability to take a slightly riskier approach to investment given the existence of a guarantee. So far, the Government has received over £3bn in payments from surpluses generated since privatisation, with a similar amount being paid out in additional bonuses to beneficiaries….
…There is a sense of having your cake and eating it. Most of the money in the fund was put there by the employer, British Coal, at a time when it was losing money hand-over-fist for the taxpayer. In retrospect, British Coal injected more money into the scheme during the 1980s than was necessary to cover liabilities. Had too little been paid in and a deficit appeared, the Government would have stood behind the liabilities and made up the gap.
The Government needs to explain why it thinks this is a priority for spending when the energy industry is desperate for investment, energy bills have tripled, low-paid pensioners have been stripped of their winter fuel allowance and farmer face a sudden tax raid that could drive some out.”
395950+up ticks,
A truly sad affair,
This is the endgame fallout achieved via years of party before country, tactical, best of the worst, family tree voting
Dt,
Farmer took own life in fear of inheritance tax raid, says son
Prospect of the family losing £2m estate, which had been in their hands since 1950s, had ‘eaten away’ at their 78-year-old grandfather
Of course, he was right – him living longer would have meant they would have had to sell land to pay the bill. They've had no time to prepare. No tax should destroy a family's livelihood. Reeves and Starmer have this man's blood on their hands.
Yes, we must keep this alive -and Peter Lynch and the other political prisoners – and Amesbury and Dawn Butler – as if we are nor careful, it will all get buried in the rest of today’s news.

395950+ up ticks,
Tis a grand day that has, at long last abroken.
Of the seven 'swing states', the biggest three have declared and Trump has won them. He is also ahead in the other four. Surely a clean sweep of the swing states would constitute a landslide?
……………….more likely would constitute an attempted impeachment by the Democrats.
O'Brien, Vorderman, BBC, Channel 4, Sky News, Progressives, your them/theys are taking an awful beating
It takes a heart of stone not to laugh.
But. I want to see the result in writing before I breathe out.
Next battle: how to get rid of our disgusting Administration.
Good morning, that God Trump has won the US Presidency. I was praying so, the greatest comeback in political history . We'll never have to see that weird heckling face of Harris again
Quote from Going Postal:
"With all the shit the Don has gone through these past four years,
I truly hope he is NOT magnanimous in victory.
Justice must be seen to be done too, Don".
If someone were to ask me which British politician most resembles Kamala Harris, I might suggest Jo "Thrusting" Swinson.
I wonder what became of her.
Swinson led her party through the 2019 general election, suggesting she could lead a Liberal Democrat majority government which would revoke Article 50 and cancel Brexit. Instead, Swinson and the Liberal Democrats sustained a net loss in seats, including her own to the Scottish National Party and was disqualified from continuing as party leader. At less than five months, her tenure as leader was the shortest in the Liberal Democrats' history. She is also the only incumbent Liberal Democrat leader to have lost a Parliamentary seat. Wiki
Even they couldn't be stupid enough to try that
It will certainly be interesting to see what happens.
Wanna bet?
I will NOT take that bet!
That's it.. once Pennsylvania election result called for Trump.. Kamala would have to win everything else including Alaska.
Trump is lidderally a fascist he's lidderally gonna commit gennycider.

Good Moaning.

"By smearing Kemi Badenoch as a ‘white supremacist’, the Left have shown their true colours
In the eyes of progressive fanatics, all Tories are racist – even if they’re black
Michael Deacon05 November 2024 7:00am GMT
Last month, Kemi Badenoch argued that there was one reason in particular why Labour feared her becoming Tory leader. It was because the Left, she explained, “want to paint people on the Right as being prejudiced, and they know that with me there, they will be unable to make that case convincingly.”
Oh, my sweet summer child. Such touching innocence. Such poignant faith in the honour and integrity of Left-wing activism. We can only hope that she can recover from having her illusions so swiftly shattered.
Because, as we’ve now seen, the fact that Mrs Badenoch is black has done absolutely nothing to deter the Left from smearing the Tories on race. Indeed, they didn’t even bother waiting till she’d won. On Saturday morning, before the outcome of the Tory leadership contest had been officially confirmed, a senior Labour MP was already sharing a social media post accusing Mrs Badenoch of boosting “white supremacy”.
Dawn Butler, who has held a seat in the Commons for almost 20 years, at one time served as Labour’s “shadow minister for diverse communities”. In other words, she used to speak for the party on matters of race. And now here she was, sharing a post by an author named Nels Abbey, which denounced Mrs Badenoch as “the most prominent member of white supremacy’s black collaborator class”. Indeed, the post thundered on, she represented “white supremacy in blackface”. Her success, therefore, was an “obvious” victory “for racism”.
A fascinating insight, there, into the deranged contortions of the modern progressive mindset. I particularly like the use of the word “obvious”. Yes, a black woman becoming leader of the Conservative party is obviously a big win for racists, isn’t it? The BNP must be overjoyed. Skinheads will be swimming in champagne. In the bowels of Hell, Oswald Mosley will be jubilantly hooting that it vindicates everything he stood for. (“You see, that’s why we called ourselves the Blackshirts. It’s because we so dearly wanted to be led by black people.”)
Only a mind-reader could know whether anyone on the Left genuinely believes this kind of nonsense. But then, perhaps it makes no difference, because whether they believe it or not, they were always bound to respond like this. To them, in fact, it didn’t actually matter which candidate won. If it had been Robert Jenrick, they’d have said the Tory party was racist, because its members had voted for the white man instead of the black woman. Yet apparently, voting for the black woman instead of the white man also proves that the Tory party is racist, because its members are cunningly using the black woman as cover for their racism. Indeed, these Tory racists are so fervently dedicated to maintaining this ingenious facade that they’re going to spend the next five years striving to ensure that their country gets its first ever black prime minister…
If there is a lesson for the Tories here, it’s this: they mustn’t waste even another nano-second trying to appease Left-wing grievance-pedlars. Because they can never win. It doesn’t matter that the Tories were the first major UK party to have a non-white leader (Rishi Sunak), chancellor (Sajid Javid, followed by Sunak, Nadhim Zahawi and Kwasi Kwarteng), foreign secretary (James Cleverly) and home secretary (Javid, followed by Priti Patel, Suella Braverman and Cleverly). Nor does it matter that, in the entire 124-year history of the Labour party, every single one of its leaders has been white. In the eyes of the grievance-pedlars, the Tories are the racists, and that’s that. So any non-white person who votes for the Tories, joins the Tories or even leads the Tories must be a racist, too.
To Mrs Badenoch, such an attitude no doubt seems unjust. Still, perhaps there’s one thing to be said for it. Racial equality means treating people the same way, regardless of their skin colour. And since the modern Left treat all Tories as white supremacists, regardless of their skin colour, they’re at least being consistent."
The racists on the fascistic Left suggest that Kemi Badenoch is a traitor and a collaborator with the enemy. If she were French, they'd shave her head.
In reality, and taking on identity politics head-on, KB is first and foremost a Conservative, and in leading the party according to what she regards to be mainstream Conservatism, she is surely no traitor to her cause. I doubt she thinks that much about the importance of her race or gender, and would not want anyone else to either.
I am more concerned about the judgement shown when appointing her shadow cabinet.
Is it not dangerous to give the Foreign Office brief to someone who, on her own initative, diverted aid money to a rich and already well supported warmongering regime, rather than more deserving causes?
Is it not dangerous handing scrutiny over Justice, responding to a Government led by a man whose record on HS2, Rotherham and the Post Office is somewhat dodgy to a man who was caught getting a backhander from a property developer when overturning a Local Authority planning decision?
It's not critical though – KB had to give senior positions to her rivals for the leadership in order to preserve party unity at a time when numbers are depleted. According to their performance in this Parliament, they can be reshuffled by rising talent closer to the next election.
Three wins in a row for President Donald J Trump!
The Democrat vote 2024 was millions down on 2020 because those big numbers didn't exist!
It will be interesting to see if any suitcases come out.

Good morning all you Nottlers. An update on my Grandson.
November update
His school got in touch with the Make a Wish foundation. They called Carwyn to discuss what was his biggest wish and he said to be Freddy Mercury for the day.
So they organised a tribute Queen band to come down to the Albert Hall (not that one) and allow him to perform in front of an invited audience on stage with a schoolfriend and his music teacher in the wings to give him confidence.
My God, he excelled himself. He was so confident everyone was bowled over. He had a practice with the band in the afternoon and then two live sessions of 45 minutes in the evening. After the last song the lead singer went off and he plonked himself in front of the drum kit and started We will Rock You. Knowing he can't hold a knife and fork at mealtimes it started me off blubbering. His performance was faultless and the singer came back on stage to end the night's show.
Yesterday morning it was back to school with PE and a physio session. He came back to ours and immediately went round to a friend to do back flips on her trampoline.
This morning it was up at 5am to get ready to head for Newport for a 9 o'clock appointment to have his eyes examined as they are showing worrying signs of deterioration according to his consultant neurologist.
He is one tough kid.
A day to cherish RT

Ed Miliband is sacrificing the welfare of the country to pursue net zero
Letters to the Editor 06 November 2024 12:01am GMT
SIR – At 6pm on Monday, renewables were generating 7.1 per cent of the UK’s power requirements. Gas was generating 59.1 per cent and overseas interconnectors were supplying 10.8 per cent. Yet the Government has ordered a ban on drilling in new North Sea oil fields and is taxing companies currently operating offshore out of existence, leaving viable gas and oil deposits untapped.
No matter how many wind turbines and solar farms Ed Miliband forces us to fund, they will not generate electricity in still, sunless weather. Our energy policy seems to be dictated by the whims of the Energy Secretary and the exhortations of the green lobby, with no thought at all for what is best for people or businesses (“Millions more may be asked to switch off in net zero drive”, Business, November 5).
Ian Goddard
Wickham, Hampshire
He doesn't care. Miliband simply does not care. He has never had a jpob, never built anything, never made anything. He is human flotsam. A useless turd in the sewer of politics. His only interest is in pocketing as much of other people's money as possible and to do as much damage as he can for his insane, hypocritical, psychotic arrogance.
He is a Marxist, as was his father before him. That's all anyone needs to know.
They are wreckers.

Trump declares victory in 2024 election as he addresses the nation. 6 November 2024.
Donald Trump has declared victory in the US presidential election, taking to the stage in Florida to address the nation.
The Republican has won the key swing states of North Carolina, Georgia and Pennsylvania, and appears on course to sweep Wisconsin and Michigan in a landslide.
Trump has won. Biden is now going to poison the well. The greatest danger is that he will now allow the Ukies to use missiles to directly attack Russia and so prevent Trump from bringing the war to an end.

If 'they' do escalate it will be in Biden's name. Biden is, and always has been, a proxy President. That's not to say that he's not a nasty human being.
I don't know if Biden is nasty. I don't think he is – I don't know the man. I do know he hasn't spent a ay outside of public office and yet has accrued a massive property portfolio despite only a senators salary – ignoring his wife's income as a doctor.
Thus he's clearly profitted personally above and beyond his salary which has a stink of corruption.
‘Doctor’ Jill has some sort of doctoral credential in education rather than a medical degree so is hardly going to have earned much on that basis. I don’t know if her PhD is the sort that comes from a highly rated university after 3 years of supervised research or whether it came off the internet on the basis of 2,000 words of piffle (like the case of that woman who used to flog nutrition advice on UK TV until her minimal qualification was exposed).
I feel a lot of scorched earth will be left smouldering by January. Ukraine is particularly worrying.
That was my immediate reaction – what is the senile, nasty vindictive old idiot going to do – he is still the president.

Donald Trump has cocked a snook at the green lobby by declaring the abundance of oil resources the USA has. Self sufficiency!
We should be strong and determined to use our own resources .. oil, gas and coal, water, hydro etc .
We have had nearly 10 days of overcast skies, no wind , nothing but a sea of solar farms here in this part of Dorset
I have solar powered lights in my garden. The last week they have either not come on at all or only come on weakly for a short time.

Yes, it's all part of Progressive government.
Its bare faced lies actually.
It's more than just efficiency – it's emergency resuscitation – if it happens. They do seem to understand the crisis facing the US.
Nobody is riding to Britain's rescue though. We make gestures, like voting for Brexit, but we don't follow them through – we allow the WEFers to retain their death grip on power.

Several things need to change: the welfare classes and those non-contributors cannot be allowed to vote.
The government must account for at least 51% of the electorate – else no government can be formed. No one would miss it's pointlessness.
Recall must be enforced and nothing government does able to stop it with the MP suspended from the point of initiation.
All MPs pay and expenses to be published and approved by their constituents
Any budget presented must be agreed by the citizen and can be refused in whole or part – with no recourse.
The public can prorogue parliament on demand
All MPs are hired into IR35 on election with all assets subject under that law past and present.
All government departments to enact zero base budgets with at minimum 5% cuts every year.
The greedy fools would soon abandon the place once real democracy were enforced.
395950+ up ticks,
Morning W,
Seconded on all points,
Well Democrats, this is Kamala Karma writ large.
If you hadn't stolen the last election you might now have had two much better candidates to take on Pence and A N other this time around.
Instead you've now got the prospect of an increasingly impressive J D Vance who could well get two terms if Trump and his double Houses have a great term.
Dear Lord, let it be.
I sincerely hope so. The US is a major contributor to all the Hard Left nonsense in the world. If that were removed or significantly reduced then the evil of the UN would evaporate. The EU is bankrupt, the WEF can't continue with private income if the major sources of revenue are smashed.
Miliband is a communist. For him, green is the ideal vehicle to destroy this country. He doesn't care about the consequences or the cost. He is a zealot, a fanatic. An insane, demented, school boy child for whom the ends justify the means.
With Trump's win Labour must now be internationally embarrassed publicly and Lammy reduced to grovelling – on camera. Their humiliation must be thorough and extensive as Trump shows the way to growth.
Then, ideally, Labour are ripped away from office, their every policy repealed – for the last 25 years – and rationality restored and government abolished as the irrelevant waste it is.
"An insane, demented, school boy child for whom the ends justify the means."
Best epitaph on Milliband I have seen yet!

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2024/11/05/farming-tax-raid-puts-food-security-at-risk-warn-suppliers/
Rachel Reeves’s inheritance tax raid on farmers will put food security at risk and leave Britain more reliant on foreign imports, suppliers have warned.
Senior business leaders said the Chancellor’s decision to impose inheritance tax on farming assets worth more than £1m threatened to erode domestic food production.
It comes as pressure mounts on Sir Keir Starmer from both MPs and industry to meet with farmers to discuss the impact of the tax raid.
Reeves knows what she is doing. So does Starmer They are following orders. They know that this will destroy family farms, that farmers will be forced to sell at least a part of their land, that the diminished farms will become unviable (many barely make a living now), that there will be a knock-on effect on food production (there will be less of it). Waiting in the wings will be the globalist oligarchs such as Gates. They will buy the land – to do what with it? Bug farming? Solar panels? This is a land grab disguised as a "justifible tax that we can't afford not to levy".
They are that evil.
Of course it does. I agree, this is PLANNING for food shortages.
Planning to CREATE food shortages.
that’s what I meant! Maybe I spend too much time travelling through Dover and seeing Britain’s food arriving!
Maybe I’m too cynical, but I think that if anything does happen to disrupt food imports, we will wake up after a brief period of looting and turmoil to find that the financial reset has happened.
If this is the case then they should both be arrested and tried for treason against the British people.
We should crowd fund each farm threatened with closure, until these vile, evil marxists are thrown out of office.
Are limited companies subject to inheritance tax?
Company acting as Trustee acquires the farm, appointing the farmer as Manager, and then in due course taking on farmer's children and grandchildren on the same terms.
The important thing is to protect it from being at risk of a hostile takeover from an unscrupulous predator.
No but you would have to pay tax on putting assets into a limited company
I've seen a suggestion that each farmer could sell a proportion of his farm to other farmers – a few hundred/thousand lots of one square yard, each with a title deed. Unravel that, Reeves.

Khan, the wee maggot has been leading the left wings condemnation of President Trump's victory. I'm sure most of the US and UK are really impressed by this action. Well, most of the US, if they have even heard of him, are thinking WTF, and most of the UK wondering what the hell has it got to do with a glorified town clerk, who can't even do his job efficiently.
Trump brings hope to us all.

Letter – Stephen Hillier
The present Labour front bench's knowledge or care of farming probably extends little beyond picking Peruvian asparagus and South African avocados out of a tray in Waitrose. The land sold off will be bought by the government and covered in solar panels, thus making it 'brownfield' for future housing.

Morning all 🙂😊
Wet grey and miserable out there.
Has Trump won ? Our msm seems a little reluctant to announce that he's leading.
And millipede is a damn nucence his personal adgenda is totally insignificant.
If he wants to make a difference to global energy consumption he should go to the middle east and China and pull faces and wave his arms around. They consume more polluting energy than the rest of the world put together.
Morning Belle. I've had one deleted already. Lol.
Boris Johnson has been “fired for banging on about his book” during Channel 4’s coverage of the US election.
The former prime minister, who was making a guest appearance on America Decides: US Presidential Election, was told off by co-host Krishnan Guru-Murthy for holding up his memoir and plugging it just minutes into the show.
Guru-Murthy told Mr Johnson to “put it away” and “stop it, enough” as he twice referenced his new book and attempted to hold it up to viewers.
The Channel 4 newsreader described the former prime minister’s actions as “so cheap”.
Mr Johnson retorted: “There’s absolutely nothing you can do to stop me … I’m allowed to plug my book.”

Do try to access the article, I think it is hilarious .. and so typical of Channel 4 bias… Fancy them inviting Stormy Daniels, of all people .
Boris 's book… a friend is reading it .. and it is one helluva read , worth every penny .
He wasn't kicked off just for promoting his book: he also criticised their biased coverage of the US election.
Yes , I know, the article s there for all to read.
Channel 4 is a left wing disgrace, as is the entire BBC! There – fixed!.
Just a thought. Will all the extra trails in the USA's sky today be all those 'slebs' and corrupt individuals fleeing to pastures new in their private jets?
We remember the day that Trump stated that he intended to root out corruption in Washington
–the Canadian Immigration website crashed that evening.

A new tax code.
Repeal of all Labour's policies
Repeal equality act, gender recognition act, race relations act, hra, climate change act, net zero abolition,….
removal of universal franchise
Scrapping of child benefit
Sacking half the civil service
Rampant fracking and coal, gas and nuclear power station building,
revocation of all subsidy for windmills
Zero taxes on gas extraction in north sea
Fertiliser production in the UK
Limitations on the Upper house and reduction of numbers – removal of anyone 'elevated' in the last 50 years
And in a perfect world:
Confiscation of assets of Blair, Mandelson, Butler, Starmer, Raynor, Reeves and Lammy, and the stoning, flogging and flaying of Blair and Mandelson.
Brown to issue public apology for his treacherous waste and ruin of the economy. Starmer to sign away his pension to farmers.
You left out abolition of the Supreme Court.

Other than a LOT of people going to jail for a long time, what of the actions of the illegitimate Biden Administration?

It's a waste of money that will make no difference. We've so many problems at home with foreigners spewing filth everywhere, that should be the priority.
Couldn't we combine the two and pin the tail on the donkey?
I think that there is a good argument to be made for Trump to be awarded an extra term in the Whitehouse in compensation.
It should just lead to jail for those involved. It's ironic. After all the effort the Left put in to trying to silence and stop Donald Trump they'd be hung by their own arrogance.
Three cheers and a round of thanks to our American cousins, as it looks like all the Left’s shenanigans have failed to stop Trump winning and winning bigly – even the popular vote. Apart from the US election, Free Speech ’s focus today is on the political mess in this country and some strange goings on with the British Constitution. Read Iain Hunter’s superbly well researched article for a deeper understanding of this important subject, and a better idea of how our cherished freedoms are being eroded.
Also, we are still collecting for ex-servicemen and women as part of our Remembrance Day appeal , with the charity Help For Homeless Veterans well in the lead in our poll. All donations to FSB up to Remembrance Day will be given to the winning charity.

A zealot’s delusion can’t prevent blackouts
The Neso report is not a vindication of Mr Miliband’s approach but a warning of how dangerous it has become
Telegraph View 05 November 2024 9:00pm GMT
As an exercise in wishful thinking, Ed Miliband’s response to a new report on his plans to decarbonise the electricity grid within five years would take some beating. He commissioned a body called the National Energy System Operator (Neso) to examine the feasibility of his plans amid widespread scepticism in the industry that it was remotely achievable.
Neso said this accelerated timetable (it was originally planned for 2035) could technically be met but would require a Herculean effort on every front. Nearly 620 miles of new power lines would have to be built at a time when demands for other construction projects were being expanded amid a desperate shortage of workers.
In addition, millions more people would have to be persuaded to turn off their power at night to conserve energy. Most ministers would consider this analysis and conclude that the 2030 target is far too ambitious, even reckless.
Not Mr Miliband. He greeted the report as a “rebuke to those who said it couldn’t be done”. But it hasn’t been done. Mr Miliband is suffering from the zealot’s delusion that simply wishing something would happen will make it so.
Local objections to the power lines and pylons that will snake their way across the countryside will lead to legal challenges. Mr Miliband indicated these would be overcome by legislation forcing the plans through on grounds of national security. He has already over-ridden planning refusals for new solar farms in eastern England and will do the same for pylons.
Once again he maintained that this means cheaper energy, even though electricity in the UK is more expensive for businesses than anywhere in the industrialised world. In a newspaper article he said: “We will get our country off the rollercoaster of volatile fossil fuel markets so we can deliver cheaper electricity.” Yet even if he does hit his target it will be necessary to use gas as a backup on windless, sunless days. That will mean relying on other countries for supplies.
With old nuclear power plants about to be decommissioned, what happened to the idea of a fleet of small modular reactors to replace them? Are they to be part of his mix of renewables?
The Neso report is not a vindication of Mr Miliband’s approach but a warning of how dangerous it has become. It will be touch and go to avoid the lights going out before the next election. Sir Keir Starmer has been warned.
Ed Miliband
As the Energy Secretary, Miliband is the sole shareholder of NESO. He has said that NESO will help investors build new energy infrastructure and support the government's plan to reach net zero.
Starmer won't take heed, though. It'll be the seventies all over again. They could frack and be independent of "volatile fossil fuel markets".
Just a ponder point, has anyone told Mr Biden that he is no longer POTUS, or will tha be left to the removal men, oops people
That's not how it works there.
In Britain, the removal men evict the outgoing PM the day the result is announced. It is quite brutal, or as someone once said of Baroness Brady "firm but fair".
In America, they have to go through the indignity of being a lame duck, or more accurately a political turkey, through Christmas, just to rub it in.
People talk of the 2020 election being stolen, but I don't think it was.Trump won in 2016 because folk had got fed up with Washington insiders and wanted a maverick loose cannon who'd get things done. In 2020, they wanted Nurse back again, and there were no shortage of nurses around Joe Biden. This time, Kamala Harris gambled on being able to pull through by alienating half the electorate for their toxic masculinity, only to find the pesky Donald making it a virtue.
I do think the 2000 election was stolen though. It was settled with malfunctioning election equipment and a bit of nepotism. Al Gore should have been President, and he might not then have done a David Icke overhyping global warming. I recall that disgruntled Democrats retaliated by removing the Ws from all the White House keyboard in order to express what they felt about the incoming president.
If God spares him, Trump will become the 47th President at noon EST on January 20.
Let's pray that He does.
Trump won in 2016 because the Democrats underestimated the number of fake votes they needed.
A mistake they corrected in 2020 but a correction they were unable to repeat because the average US citizen had had enough of being lied to.
Perhaps Starmer would like to take on President Trumps motto.

Perfecto!
Wibbles, Thornberry was on Radio 4 this morning (hangs head, but I wanted to get the US Election Results). She said, in effect, that "nobody knows what Trump will be like as a President". The interviewer (God bless her) said in effect, "Hang on, he's already been President for 4 years". I'll try and dig up exactly what she said by using BBC Sounds (spit).
Thornberry is an utter moron. We do know – America will grow, get richer and be more dominant on the world stage by being less interested.
Well, she is totally safe, even if you wanted milk from her
I suppose the lefties in the US will double their efforts to kill Mr Trump.

The BBC has stopped allowed its staff to stop spitting when they say 'Trump'. The reason is because they have all run out of spit.
Their anger is comical. They really don't understand. All the more reason why the Left must be snubbed out.
Rory Stewart and Alastair Campbell baffled by Trump’s victory. 6 November 2024.
Donald Trump is on course to win the US election – and it’s safe to say that Rory Stewart and Alastair Campbell aren’t thrilled about the news.
On a livestream of their Rest is Politics podcast, Stewart – who earlier this week said he hadn’t ‘changed my mind on Kamala Harris winning comfortably’ – struggled to process the news that the US election was far closer than he may have hoped.
Stewart suggested that Trump’s success in winning the two key swing states of North Carolina and Georgia was difficult to comprehend given how good the Democrats’ ground game was during the campaign:
Unable to comprehend the loathing that they and their ilk draw.

Pathetic. Those two can't even get a proper puff up their bagpipes!
Alastair Campbell worked for George Soros' puppet Tony Blair and I think Rory Stewart is a member of the Blair Soros Happy Family!
I think it really shows just how personally vain and yet ignorant some of these political creatures really are.
Garbage.
Soros puppets!
Rory is not giving up yet.. he's nauseously optimistic. Lol.
Just watched it. What kept going through my mind was: "Thick as bricks." They obviously have no clue about the internet. Trumps talk with Joe Rogan was far more important and far more influential on voters than a never ending bunch of Democrat clowns knocking on doors with their pamphlets and a whole lot cheaper too. Money isn't an issue if your're using the internet to communicate, 26 million watched Joe and Trump, population of N. Carolina 10 million, Georgia, 11 million. In a two hour chat Trump theoretically spoke to every voter, every person, in those two states, practically for free. Stewart and Campbell are still in the 20th century with their understanding of how things function in the present. That, and TDS leave them as clueless as headless chickens.

George Soros' Climate Change Act 2008 – A Complex Web of Cronyism and Crookery!
Unfortunately, few people know the awful history of the UK’s climate laws and the corruption between senior politicians and George Soros who was the motivating force for the legislation leading to today’s energy disaster.
Tony Blair met with George Soros for private talks at the New York Plaza Hotel on April 10 1996 and later sold to George Soros and his consortiums extremely valuable British state assets in cut price sweetheart deals in 2000 and 2003 and provided the laws and policies George Soros desired. Including open borders and the Climate Change Act 2008.
George Soros' close friend, David Miliband, Environment Minister 2006-2007, was the architect of the Climate Change Act 2008 which George Soros wanted and was subsequently rewarded with the now million dollar CEO position in a New York charity supported with “hefty donations” by George Soros. David Miliband is also a paid advisor to green sector venture capital. Tony Blair was rewarded with many years of consultancy work from George Soros worth $millions. David Cameron who strongly supported the Climate Change Act and whose Conservative Party mainly voted for it, subsequently received a directorship of a George Soros financed organization.
The first chairman of the Climate Change Committee from 2008, Lord Adair Turner, appointed by George Soros’ friend Gordon Brown, was in an “alliance” with George Soros according to the Daily Telegraph. Lord Adair Turner was subsequently appointed chairman of the Energy Transitions Commission from 2016. This means that George Soros’ friend and ally, Lord Adair Turner, has been the guardian of George Soros’ Climate Change Act continuously since 2008 except for an interval between appointments when he worked personally for George Soros. Other friends and connections of George Soros were also appointed to the Climate Change Committee which is exactly what one would expect in the circumstances to ensure that everything was done exactly as George Soros desired and to ensure that he had not wasted his time and money. Lord Turner was previously given a peerage by George Soros' close friend Tony Blair in 2005 just in time to prepare the House of Lords to approve the Climate Change Act which George Soros desired. Therefore, Lord Adair Turner was the obvious choice to be chairman of the Climate Change Committee from 2008 and chairman of the Energy Transitions Commission from 2016.
David Miliband, who arranged the Climate Change Act 2008, recruited Bryony Worthington from Friends of the Earth to help write the legislation. Bryony Worthington was running the Friends of the Earth 'Big Ask' campaign which was to limit carbon output by law. Friends of the Earth are part financed by George Soros through Open Society and Bryony Worthington was given a peerage as Baroness Worthington and appointed to the House of Lords by George Soros’ close friend David Cameron.
Steven Fries, who is a current member of the Climate Change Committee, is a senior fellow of George Soros’ Institute for New Economic Thinking. Piers Forster, current acting chair of the Climate Change Committee, is an ”agenda setter” at the World Economic Forum. The previous CEO of the Climate Change Committee, Christopher Stark, benefited from a gravy train pay grade of $225,000 pa and previously worked for George Soros’ close friend Gordon Brown who was publicly congratulated by George Soros at the G20 in 2009 for saving the world financial system with the words ”this was Gordon Brown’s finest hour”. Christopher Stark was appointed CEO of Gordon Brown’s Carbon Trust from April 30 2024. The new CEO of the Climate Change Committee is a close friend of George Soros' ally Lord Adair Turner and has delivered green speeches with him.
George Soros, through his foundation Open Society, went on to part finance the Conservative think tank Bright Blue which recommended Legal Net Zero 2019 to Theresa May who enthusiastically implemented the measure exactly as Soros desired.
Soon afterwards, Theresa May started a very long series of one hour free to attend $125,000 speeches booked through the same Washington speakers agency favored by Soros’ agent and proxy Tony Blair.
Shortly after Lord Stern published his report ‘Economics of Climate Change’ in 2006 he travelled around with George Soros giving talks about Oil Wars and Climate Change and demanding $100billion, rising to $500billion, from Western governments to solve problems they’d just invented. Who was to control what happened to that money? None other than George Soros through the IPCC.
Taking everything together, it’s very easy to see what has been going on here which is certain key individuals such as Tony Blair and David Miliband being on billion dollar green investor George Soros’ payroll.
Interestingly, the two politicians who heavily promoted Britain's signature of the Maastricht and Lisbon Treaties, John Major and David Miliband respectively, both later received highly paid jobs very closely connected to George Soros who wanted Britain to sign the Maastricht and Lisbon Treaties as part of his plan for European integration.
John Major, Tony Blair, Gordon Brown, David Cameron and Theresa May did not write about George Soros in their memoirs despite being very closely connected to him. Very likely because they didn’t want to be found out!
Perhaps DT will be investigating the Soros influence on the global society. Along with many others involved.
Spectre look out.

Good morning all. Wonderful day, but frankly I would say that if the UK had been hit by a hurricane. Trump is President, which is wonderful for America and the world. What is especially good is that all the levers of power are now in the hands of the Republicans, Presidency, Senate, House of Representatives, and the Supreme Court. That means that things will get done without the malicious interference of the Democrats, which was a major problem the first time round.
Next thing in the USA, when the left wake up somewhere around mid-day, Antifa and the rest of the rabble stir themselves, look forward to rioting. Hope it doesn't happen but I think that is a major source of anxiety at the moment.

‘Dunkelflaute’ sends wind power generation plummeting in UK and Germany. 6 November 2024.
A “Dunkelflaute” period of weather has sent wind power generation tumbling in the UK, Germany and other parts of northern Europe.
The phenomenon – which translates roughly as “dark wind lull” – describes periods when wind speeds plunge, leading to little to no generation from turbines.
And dumkopf politicians.

Humiliation for Starmer’s Labour: All The Times They Insulted Donald Trump
Starmer congratulated Trump this morning: “As the closest of allies, we stand shoulder to shoulder in defence of our shared values of freedom, democracy and enterprise.” David Lammy wrote a congratulatory tweet of his own and said “We look forward to working with you and JD Vance in the years ahead.” Trump may take a dim view of that considering what the frontbench has said about him before…
2016: Ed Miliband called Trump a “racist” and “misogynist”.
2017: Yvette Cooper joined a women’s march to “take a stand against Donald Trump”.
2017: Starmer’s wife Victoria was pictured at the same anti-Trump march, pictured with a “down with Trump” sign.
2017: David Lammy branded Trump “incompetent” and a “troll”.
2017: Wes Streeting wrote a Guardian article titled “Labour must not allow Trump’s ugly populism to blight the UK”.
2018: Lammy called Trump a “neo-Nazi-sympathising sociopath”.
2018: Miliband castigated Trump’s “racist attacks”, “his lies” and “his admiration for dictators”.
2019: Lammy said “Trump will be memorialised as a fragile, bigoted and cowardly disgrace”.
2019: Sadiq Khan said Trump’s language is like that of “the fascists of the 20th century.”
2020: Starmer attacked Dominic Cummings for using the “tactics of Donald Trump.“
2020: Starmer said Trump is not the man “to lead the world” during Coronavirus.
2021: Lammy said “Good riddance Donald. The world is relieved to see the back of you”.
2021: Starmer accused Boris of being “Britain’s Trump.”
2021: Rayner said “the violence that Trump has unleashed is terrifying”.
2023: Starmer raged at Tories for behaving “more and more like Donald Trump.”
2024: Khan said Trump is “a racist. He’s a sexist. He’s a homophobe.”
2024: Immigration minister Angela Eagle accused Donald Trump of fuelling “overt racism” in the UK.

Can somebody explain to me the difference between 'populism' and 'democracy'?
If the Left win an election it's Democracy and if they lose one it's Populism.
Ha haa! Spot on!
It's when populism results in a charismatic demagogue coming to power who then undermines and dismantles those safeguards which protect political pluralism and ensure the fair treatment of minorities.
Right, so Tony Blair's victory over Major was "Populism"?
Sure, if that’s how you perceive it. I dont think of Blair in that way but his haters think otherwise.
Populism is when somebody the left doesn't like gets elected by a majority of the demos. Democracy is when someone the left does like just about scrapes in on a poor turnout.
How can Lammy possibly call someone incompetent???
He doesn't know the meaning of the word.
I personally would be delighted and relieved to see the back of Lammy.
Khan Throws Tantrum Over Trump Win
London Mayor Sadiq Khan clearly didn’t get the memo from Keir Starmer about supporting and working with the next U.S. President. Instead, Khan rushed to issue a moaning statement on Trump’s win, bleating about how “fearful” Londoners supposedly feel about what the result means for democracy and women’s rights. Khan wailed:
“I know that many Londoners will be anxious about the outcome of the US Presidential election. Many will be fearful about what it will mean for democracy and for women’s rights, or how the result impacts the situation in the Middle East or the fate of Ukraine. Others will be worried about the future of NATO or tackling the climate crisis…The lesson of today is that progress is not inevitable. But asserting our progressive values is more important than ever – re-committing to building a world where racism and hatred is rejected, the fundamental rights of women and girls are upheld, and where we continue to tackle the crisis of climate change head on.”
Leader of City Hall Conservatives Neil Garratt was quick to slam Khan’s insulting statement:
“It’s important to recognise the legitimate winner of a free and fair election, and the peaceful handover of power. These are not things everyone in the world can take for granted, we should not attempt to undermine them. The fact remains that the Mayor’s job is to focus on delivering for London…Londoners will see through him trying to use the American election as a ruse to distract from his own failures in office, including his failure to negotiate a good deal for London with his own Labour government.”
Latest on Labour’s contribution to the “special relationship” as we get it…
Good I hope he's really suffering.
Sad Dick Khant should not be in a position run/rule Londonistan
He shouldn't be in the country full stop!
London should be returned to the state of being our capital city. Londonistan should be demolished.
Sad Dick Khant should not be in a position run/rule Londonistan
"… the fundamental rights of women and girls are upheld …" Says the hypocritical man whose vile
ideology'religion' is hardly known for protecting and respecting OUR girls and women.Or, indeed, any women they have control over?
Trump has made plain his disdain over excessive US funding of the defence of other nations. That might mean a reduced US commitment to NATO, Israel and Ukraine. On the other hand, he's a dealmaker – as described on television earlier – so he could very well bang heads together to reduce conflict in Ukraine and the Middle East as well as giving Putin some reassurance over US policy towards Russia and its borders.
"Women's rights"? I should think women are far more fearful about having a muslim in charge!
The most important happening of the day
Our
dustmenRefuse Disposal Technicians did their collection this morning: they are still wearing SHORTSSaves them getting their trousers dirty!
They're moving around constantly hefting heavy loads. It gets to January before our cable installers get out of shorts. Lugging 20kg of cable about is hard work, especially if you're working in cramped, unpleasant conditions.
It's mild by typical November standards.
Glowball boiling, obviously (rather than a lot of cloud cover and not much wind).
Given the sweat I've worked up today clearing another couple of square feet up the hill, I don't bloody blame them!
For November it's VERY mild.
It's 13 degrees C here at night. Normally by now I would have the Rayburn lit, but there's no point doing that when outside temperatures are in double figures. I'd be sweltering.
We’ve had the Rayburn on for a week or so, but I did turn it off tonight and, until the weather gets colder, will only turn it back on to do cooking.
I have Calor to do the cooking when the Rayburn isn’t lit.

Now that he was given 72 seats in Parliament with fewer votes than The Reform Party who only got 5 I would like to hear if this nasty little twerp now still thinks we should have PR – something the Liberal have argued for for many years.
I like June Slater's response.
'You don't even make sense. How can it be a dark day for democracy. When a democratically elected President wins.
THAT IS democracy you globalist moron and he didn't even cheat !'

Yasmin A-B was given refuge by the British.

but we can’t afford not to take farmers’ livelihoods off them when they die.
Reeves: We can’t afford to let farmers die tax-free.
Let us just dwell on that statement a moment.
Yes, it's an evil thing to say.
We can't afford to help pensioners with the enormous heating bills nut zero policies have landed them with, either. But we can send billions to Africa.
BBC politics live … ha ha poor losers .
The Daily Mail called Kamala's defeat humiliatingly. 47 percent of the vote is more than respectable. You can't have two winners.
Yes, but I expect a large proportion of Harris' vote is non existent, dead or illegal whereas President Trump's vote is 100% legit!
On top of which, there were all kinds of tricks being played in R districts to suppress the R vote. How many gave up because they physically could not stand in a queue for several hours, had children with them, were starving hungry, thirsty or ill? Quite a lot I should think.
Now now Polly, you will soon be saying that the Republicans scanning electoral rolls for dead people or even demanding voter ID was a deep state republican plot.
Let's face it, the whole US electoral system is broken with both sides playing games. Let's just sit back and enjoy the lefty media crying and hand wringing over how disastrous life will be for the next four years.

Of course it equally applies here. 2029 – or before, hopefully- will be a reckoning. If we are all still alive/not in prison.
Desperate stuff from Rowlatt.
Please explain, Justin, why green technologies need such subsidies if they are so "cost effective"?
On his first day in office Biden (yukety, spit) cancelled permission for a new pipeline from Alberta down to the US refineries. Maybe he could just bring the pipeline back to life.
Our stupid liberals have just announced industry killing caps on Alberta Oil and Gas production, Trump bringing back the possibility of the pipeline would go a long way towards really pissing off pretendy emporer Trudeau – in itself a worthwhile objective.
Cancelling oil & gas, online 'hate' crime legislation, taxing farmers – it's almost as if there's an agreed play sheet between Western countries
Same with the covid propaganda and the lockdowns.
Oh there is. I see what happens in the UK and it is lock step with what is done to Canada.
It was supposed to be sarcasm Richard!
Woosh over my head.
Well it is only just breakfast time here.
Miss Trudy must be delighted by Trumps win.
Many a true word spoken in jest.
I read about that somewhere, possibly on a farcebook page called 'Coalition of Concerned Manufacturers & Businesses of Canada'

Mummy is in charge of the Tories now
New leader assembled her shadow cabinet at gunpoint telling those who got in: ‘you will serve’. She’s chosen a mixed bag
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2024/11/05/mummy-is-in-charge-of-the-tories-now/
The simple fact of the matter is that neither the Conservative Party nor the Reform Party could win a general election in the FPTP voting system without the support of each other. If Badenoch does not realise this pretty quickly then both she and her party are lost.
The only alternative is for one of the parties to disappear completely.
Brutus, the noblest Roman of them all, thrust his dagger into his close friend Julius Caesar not because he did not love him but because he loved his country more.
It is time for Jacob Rees-Mogg to play the role of Brutus and join the Reform Party because his country is more important to him than the corrupt and useless Conservative Party. Julius Caesar remarked himself : " ….. Death, a necessary end will come when it will come." JRM's honourable desertion of the Conservative Party – taking any right of centre members with him – would be the necessary kiss of death.
But he must not delay too long. To borrow from another Shakespeare play: when 'tis done, then 'twere well it were done quickly.
Don't be fooled by Jacob R-M's posh accent. I doubt very much he will put the interests of the country above the interests of his own family and the class to which he belongs.
The Rees-Moggs are not a posh family such as is suggested by your phrase 'the interests of his own family and the class to which he belongs.' He is very bright, considerably richer than his father was, but can never achieve his dream of being part of an old recusant Catholic family. Moreover, everything in his house in Somerset is far too orderly and the furniture and carpets aren't nearly tatty enough for him to make the grade…and hyphens are naff. {:^))
Er, that is why I said the class to which he belongs, not the upper class…..! If pushed, I would say plutocrat class – but have to examine my conscience carefully to check that I am not just envious of his wealth!
I am definitely envious of his riches…and his Bentley (I'm not sure if Nanny still drives the Bentley but she used to.) JRM does not deserve the grief or warrant the cheap shots from the lefty media and Labour.
PS I think it is unfair to criticise people for not having tatty enough carpets…carpets can always be mended and reverse snobbery can be as bad as the real thing…
I recently discovered a lot about recusant Catholic familiies in England. They were not all wealthy, which I had not realised – if protected by a Catholic landlord, they were agricultural labourers and tenant farmers in particularly quiet backwaters. I know one farmhouse where Catholic masses were apparently held in the attic. And the first Catholic church to be built in England in modern times was in Oxford which I never knew before!
Why I wouldn't support her.

My point is government ministers pushing drugs on behalf of big pharma.
My point is government ministers being complicit in promoting the pseudo-food agenda being pushed by the WEF, UN, Big Pharma and the Global Corporations — all of whom heavily fund governments and research institutes — in order to make people continue buying and eating more of the shit they purvey.
Big Pharma want this to happen in order to continue selling their drugs.
Yes. They are fighting back. There was an article yesterday behind the DM paywall saying that protein makes you fat not carbs.
Whoever wrote that idiotic article is a brain-dead stooge pussy for the Global Corporations and Big Pharmaceutical. I would <i>destroy</i> them in debate.
I would suck them in, at the Oxford Union, and then blow them out in bubbles.
All to conform and manipulate on behalf of the WEF-govt narrative, it's certainly not about health.
I have only to look at a potato and a slice of bread and I balloon like a hamster, so sadly these items are off the menu for me. Cakes have been relegated to the dim and distant past, so long ago that I scarcely recognise them as being edible, and certainly not 'food'.
I haven't got any of those diseases and maladies – and at 76 I take no medication.

All The Puppets Love ❤️ Kind And Generous Mr Soros!
So will Donald make it alive to the 20 January inauguration?
That's a real worry.
Yes. He now has the full security of a President even though he has yet to be inaugurated. What that's like is hard to explain unless you have seen it. Essentially it's as if several military battalions have descended on you in full battle mode. When Clinton visited Berkeley the city was locked down, dozens of helicopters were flying around, traffic was halted, and there were check points everywhere and people with lots of guns on rooftops. It was not only impressive, it was awe inspiring and rather frightening. To kill someone in that environment would be all but impossible. Didn't used to be like that but after Kennedy and the attempt of Regan, they stopped being relaxed about security.
Difficult, yes, but not impossible.
All it takes is a Patrick Magee with a long term plan, or a suicide bomber with a suitable telephone bomb pretending to get a selfie on a walkabout.
No, nothing is impossible but it would be extremely difficult. One of the things they did was all of us who were in the area were vetted days before hand. All those who were unable to give a reasonable account of who we were and what our business was were excluded from the area.
One rogue member of the protection detail could bypass a lot.
Recall Indira Gandhi.
I agree it’s unlikely, but given the hate he generates from the Left I wouldn’t rule out a serious attempt.
Coming up. News that is hidden under cover of the US election.
1. At a parliamentary committee hearing, the Canadian Security Service admitted that concerns had been raised with the prime ministers office about two Chinese scientists who were considered a security threat. The scientists were from Wuhan (of flu fame) and were working at a highly secure virus lab, they did send a numbed of highly infectious virus samples to Wuhan before they were expelled.
2. In answer to a question in parliament, it was relealed that 592 Canadian churches have been destroyed by arson in the last twenty years, hardly a peep from Trudeau.
I wonder what else has been slipped out while the media are crying about Trump.
Prime Minister of Canada, George Soros, with local operatives….

Poilievre has stated that his ministers will not be allowed to attend WEF meetings. That is a big improvement on the current situation where Freeland is on the WEF board. If the libs bring in Carney it will not help us.
Hopefully the hate hate relationship between Trudeau and Trump will help push Trudeau towards an early election because we cannot take much more of the liberals.
I would love to be a fly on the wall with our son's
bossother half and his in-laws when they are talking about Trump winning. They are (or at least were) big supporters of Trudeau, and hate Trump with a passion.Sorry, I misread Trudeau for Turdeau
The Republicans have the Senate and the House is getting close.

There are a few RINOs there, but proportionately fewer than there were.
Next question: What damage can Biden still do?
Permission for Zelensky to use long range missiles into Russia, perhaps.
Signing off on WEF UN proposals, perhaps.
Encouraging multiple prosecutions of Trump in the run up to the handover.
Resigning and giving Kamala her day in the sun.
Presidential pardons for anyone who might be under threat from a Trump administration
Encourage Netanyahu to do something stupid to Iran.
I see from the Mail that Mrs Badenoch is on Lammy's case over his 2017 tweet about Trump, demanding his resignation. Good to see that she is acting like a leader of the Opposition.
Labour's offering a target as big as a barn door, we can't be represented in talks with the US by someone who made student union type insults at their President.
There are many politicians wishing that they had been diplomatic about their feelings towards Trump.
Serves 'em right. The chickens are coming home to roost.
The noisiest anti Trump politicos are inevitably the puppets.

Hello Polly. Nice to see you on the site.
Hello, nice to see you too!
But will there be any consequences? Ah, there's the rub.
But I don't want her to score points against the idiots. Listing their stupidity is enough. That could have gone out via the Tory twitter account. I want her to talk about the damage done to farmers in the Treasury's latest tax grab.
I hope she does that too. But Lammy must go. His position is untenable.
Just saw in the DM, she denounced it at PMQs, and pledged to reverse IHT on farms when the Tories get in. More or less a no-brainer, really for the Tories, because Reform certainly would do that.
It'll be too late by then. That comes under the heading "jam tomorrow" – like stopping the boats.
For some, yes. It’s more than just a bad law, it’s wicked to ruin people through taxation.
It’s what socialism always does. As Maggie said, socialists eventually run out of other people’s money.

He only has four years. I hope that he starts succession planning soon because you can guarantee that the dems will be looking for a viable candidate in the next election.
yes it will be hard for the democrats to come up with a youngish believable candidate that appeals to the mainstream but it could happen.
They are already talking about Vance as Trump's successor. He seems bright, and if he doesn't put his foot in it, should manage? Surely after Biden and Harris, it will be a long time before people are ready for another Democrat!
It depends on how much Trump rocks the boat when he goes after those that have opposed him. Trump isn't exactly making friends with his brash demeanor. if they can find an untainted Obama type, all bets are off.
I disagree with the spelling checker that wanted to change untainted to unpainted, their next candidate must be a minority of some kind.
So not untinted, then? 🙂
Girl with suspected autism banned for asking transgender opponent: ‘Are you a man?’
Exclusive: 17-year-old, who denied being transphobic, wept during proceedings
A girl footballer with suspected autism has been hit with a six-match ban after asking a “bearded” transgender opponent: “Are you a man?”

Remember the old joke:
Q. How do you tell the sex of a chromosome?
A. Pull down it genes.
Men are men and women are women. Only an idiot cannot tell the difference.
I was going to say that maybe it helps to be autistic to see clearly the difference between a man and a woman. But then I thought that Starmer looks as if he is a clear case of Asperger's Syndrome and he can't see it.
Why was she banned for asking a question? Why is the truth teller always punished?
This sort of nonsense is what's wrong with this country. The individual, the weak are lauded, the failure rewarded. I suppose when the Emperor's new clothes are paraded around and the child says 'he's not wearing any!' the story ends 'and the fascist Left killed the child.' and the crowd properly cowed and forced to accept a lie.
That folks, is exactly what fascism is: the use of state force to control your views.
I'd point out this is exactly how communist North Korea operates.
"found guilty of “discrimination” by a National Serious Case Panel over remarks made during a match against a trans-inclusive club"
The FA National Serious Case Panel is composed of morons with syphilitic soup for brains and should be injected with Novichok and DDT at the earliest opportunity – then root out the rest of the idiots in the FA who approved and enforced this stupid LGBTPQR rule and give them a dose of DDT too.
You old softie, you.
😂
Humiliating kids by forcing them not to notice they're playing against men, and then putting them through a walk of shame kangeroo court if they don't comply.
How can a MAN who has a beard get away with claiming to be a woman, and expect people to believe HE is a woman? IMHO, it shows HE is a deluded fantasist (at best) and in need of psychological help.
You don't know about her ice cream? She has a special room in her mansion equipped with very expensive fridges and beautifully furnished. The fridges contain gourmet ice cream. She claims it is her only indulgence in life. But then, she has another indulgence, she is a compulsive lair and indulged in buying shares etc in which she had advance information as a member of the Senate. From being just middle class she ended up being worth $240 million. Quite something for a woman just receiving a senators salary. Her husband is worth $120 million thanks to tips from his wife. The two should be in prison.
Freezers rather than fridges, I hope!
Perhaps Pelosi likes it runny.
Yes, to be 100% accurate, freezers.
The Things I Learn On NOTTL.
Was it Crayons or Thieves that recently ordered 7 fridges for her new offices? One of them.
The Amish never vote or do they.
Don't forget that 180,000 Amish men and women in Pennsylvania went out and registered to vote just so they can vote for Trump
Precisely. Robert Barnes was instrumental in that he represented Amos Miller whose food products were being attacked by Pennsylvania state agencies. Before that the hazardous spillage in Palestine focussed the Amish community and President Trump turned up.
Many thousands of non-Britswent out and registered to vote in out elections, to ensure that "Starmmer Is my Wage Packet" won
Im am sure also that most did not know who their votes went to
They weren't very special protecting Trump during the campaign. Even if the lax security was ordered from on high there must still have been some less than devoted agents planning and running security.
We were in South Carolina when Trump made a campaign speech in Conway. Although we were over fifty miles away and the security was visible but as sosraboc wrote, it only takes one rogue agent.

The USA now holds the moral high ground over our great reset apparatchik government
When Trump pulls the plug on money to Ukraine to concentrate on repairing relations with the major players, in particular Russia, China, India, Iran and Saudi Arabia, the penny might finally drop.
NATO will hopefully go bust the New World Order will smoulder out and the EU project will be no more having no true global influence. The UK under Starmer and Lammy is already at the bottom of the heap.
I think that the US could begin to reset its relations with Russia by proposing the joint building of a replacement ISS
Elon Musk could be President Trump's envoy.
Elon has already said he is gunning for Starmer. If it were me i might be a tad concerned that the richest man on the planet was after me.
Starmer thinks he's untouchable. I hope reality smacks him in the face and he wakes up.
How about a joint replacement NordStream2!
President results live: Trump wins election after passing 270 threshold

What really upset people about this film was its depiction of a Post-Bellum South where many liberated slaves preferred to continue working for their former owners.
A situation where, before the racists of the KKK and Democratic Party began interfering, deep wounds were beginning to heal

Let's have a fight to the death.
Let's hope so. Though it wouldn't surprise me if starmer & co ramped up their love of the above idiocies.

Three cheers and a round of thanks to our American cousins, as it looks like all the Left’s shenanigans have failed to stop Trump winning and winning bigly – even the popular vote. Now he has to deliver and really drain the swamp this time. Do you think he can do it?
Apart from the US election, Free Speech ’s focus today is on the political mess in this country and some strange goings on with the British Constitution. I was going to be out this afternoon, visiting an elderly friend. But our road was closed in both directions and I'm useless at reversing to get back up the hill. Good job he was here. Two years ago he was in hospital for five weeks.

Moment Emily Maitlis is pulled off air and calls Donald Trump 'bats***' – as she sparks Ofcom row over expletive-laden US Election coverage https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14048483/emily-maitlis-social-media-election-coverage.html
The ex-BBC journalist was slammed by her fellow presenter on two separate occasions for swearing during the station's eight-hour broadcast, leading to calls for Ofcom to step in and sanction her behaviour. Just a few hours in, Maitlis mysteriously vanished from show before Mr Guru-Murthy alleged that she 'started swearing' and 'promised to tell her off later'. But after returning to the studio, she sparked outrage again after letting a swear word slip as she laid into Donald Trump's claim that illegal immigrants in the US were eating cats and dogs – which she described as 'bats***'. Mr Guru-Murthy was forced to step in again by telling the 54-year-old to 'stop swearing', before Maitlis then apologised, adding: 'That was the only way I could describe it'.
Acute TDS there.
She should be fired.
Out of a cannon preferably.
If 'that was the only way' she 'could describe it' her vocabulary and ability with the English language are not good enough for her to be a paid radio or television journalist.
Don;t worry, Maggie.
It's OK when 'They' do it.
Can O'Brien be extradited to face trial in the USA for calling Trump a racist on air?
And take the Maitlis witch with him?

Absolutely. I can't stand raspberry jam with the pips in even if their is a Golly on the jar.
Thanks, Jools. Breakfast was somewhat hurried.
I had a retinal bleed a few weeks ago. I've had laser zapping since. A good giude to progress is whether I can read the music in the hymn book. First Sunday – no chance. Played from memory, by the seat of my pants. I'd already worked out that switching the 'pooter's accesibility mode to "white text, black background" would help. It has, enormously.
Each Sunday, the music seems easier to read. Not perfect yet, but I'm getting there. And I can now read stuff on the 'phone, though not absolutely clear.
Confusingly, after a significant retinal bleed in the right eye in 2017, the blood didn't clear, and I had a vitrectomy. Very successful, but – by all accounts – it stopped the Lucentis injections from working on the diabetic retinopathy. We largely agreed to give up on that eye. It adds a bit of periphal vision, but that's all.
Briefly saw a different eye surgeon today. He says I have a significant cataract in the right eye. Given the significant retinopathy, I'm sceptical that cataract surgery would help. but I'm open to suggestion. He doesn't think I need a vitrectomy in the left eye. Good – since I wouldn't consent if it was offered.
Watch this space…
Oh dear. And i asked you to play Dolly. Sorry.
Gosh…………you’ve really been through the mill! And still you manage to post the new page up each day and still play the organ. What a star!
Oh, man, Geoff. You have been in the wars! Hoping for a good recovery, to the extent possible.
Thank you for putting the page up before you set off.
I hope it all went well, not too much discomfort now, and wish you a speedy recovery.
No discomfort. The dilating drops have almost worn off…
Good.
I've my retinopathy checkup due early next month.
Agreed, but he does play up to his image, Member for the eighteen century etc. I do not understand why he is doing this frightful fly on the wall TV series. Definitely not envious of that…!

Melanie Phillips on the presidential election.
"This was summed up in an unusually clear-eyed analysis by a member of the American media. As the result was becoming clear last night, CNN’s political commentator Scott Jennings said:
This is a mandate.. for getting the economy working again for millions of working-class Americans, fix immigration, try to get crime under control, try to reduce the chaos in the world — this is a mandate from the American people to do that. I’m interpreting the results tonight as the revenge of the regular old working-class American, the anonymous American who has been crushed, insulted, condescended to; they’re not “garbage”, they’re not “Nazis”, they’re just regular people who just get up and go to work every day trying to make a better life for their kids, and they feel like they have been told to just shut up when they have complained about the things that are hurting them in their own lives."
It's a long article; I'm not sure that this link will work. Good luck.
<melaniephillips@substack.com>
The relief, for some of us, is overwhelming. Even among people who dislike Donald Trump or worry about his temperament, the possibility that Kamala Harris might win yesterday’s US presidential election produced the deepest fear and dread — fear for America and fear for civilisation.
Others, however — dyed-in-the-wool Democrats, formerly Republican “never-Trumpers” and “progressives” in Britain and elsewhere — are clutching their heads today and moaning “How could this have happened”?
It would take a heart of stone not to laugh. The election result is by any standard extraordinary. This is a man whom the left has spent the past eight years trying to destroy through every possible means other than a stake through the heart.
He was subjected to an attempted rolling coup, impeachment (twice), lawfare prosecutions and legal harassment. He was found guilty of sexual assault and improperly reporting hush money payments. His house was raided over official documents that, like Joe Biden, he had taken home. He was defamed non-stop with malicious distortions of his comments and claims that he was a Nazi, fascist, and dictator who would destroy democracy. Then he survived a would-be assassin’s bullet.
Yet Trump and the Republicans have now come through to win the presidency, the Senate and the popular vote.
Moreover, in every constituency that the Democrats had assumed was their own and in which they were confident they had the vote sewn up — African-Americans, Hispanics and other minorities, women, young people, first-time voters — Trump actually increased his support and crushed his opponent.
Why oh why? cry traumatised liberals. How could this possibly have happened when we said it wouldn’t? We stated definitively that Kamala would win by an overwhelming majority. So how can it possibly be the case that she didn’t achieve what we had said would happen?
The arrogance and hubris are overwhelming, a rich source of mockery and comic memes which are now doing the rounds. However, these come from a mindset which is far from amusing. As the default position of those screaming about the threat that Trump is said to pose to democracy, this mindset is actually based on profound and venomous contempt for millions of regular folk.
This was summed up in an unusually clear-eyed analysis by a member of the American media.
I’m interpreting the results tonight as the revenge of the regular old working-class American, the anonymous American who has been crushed, insulted, condescended to; they’re not “garbage”, they’re not “Nazis”, they’re just regular people who just get up and go to work every day trying to make a better life for their kids, and they feel like they have been told to just shut up when they have complained about the things that are hurting them in their own lives.
Jennings was a rare voice of honesty from within a liberal establishment that has thus dismissed and defamed ordinary Americans for years. The reason that so many liberals simply can’t believe what’s just happened, the reason they were absolutely certain in their predictions that Trump couldn’t possibly win, the reason they never registered Kamala’s manifold and disqualifying flaws, is that the world they inhabit is a fantasy world.
What they want to happen is what they tell themselves must happen; because it must happen, it will happen; and, if they tell themselves lies — such as that transgender men are women, that excluding Zionists from publishing is helping oppressed Palestinians or that accusing all Caucasians of “white privilege” is anti-racist — what must happen is already happening. And where it is undeniably not happening, they have a duty to make it happen by foul means as well as fair because it cannot be allowed not to happen.
So when faced with the evidence of the disaster that was Kamala Harris’s candidacy, they simply didn’t see what the rest of us saw. They didn’t see that her inability to answer any question other than in gibberish “word-salads” was evidence of someone who was totally unsuited to public office. Instead, the mainstream media censored those episodes on the grounds that it was their duty to ensure she was elected because the alternative couldn’t be allowed to happen.
They didn’t register the copious evidence on social media of African- Americans and Hispanics declaring themselves Trump voters. They didn’t acknowledge — couldn’t possibly acknowledge — the disaster of Barack Obama’s arrogant attempt to bully young black men into voting for Kamala, a desperate move which backfired so very badly when these young men declared themselves insulted by a man who had done nothing for them while he was president.
But when what they deem unconscionable really does happen despite all their efforts, it’s as if the world has turned backwards on its axis. It’s an offence against nature itself. It simply cannot be.
Hence the titanic effort by the liberal establishment in Britain to reverse the 2016 Brexit vote. Hence the unconstitutional and probably illegal three-year attempt by elements in the justice department, FBI and Democratic party — facilitated by a shockingly partisan media suppressing the truth — to lever Trump out of office the first time round.
Lo and behold, there are already threats to repeat that attempted coup against democracy — by those who in the same breath are intoning that Trump will now destroy democracy. In The Atlantic, Tom Nichols writes:
After Barack Obama was elected president in 2008, then–Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell vowed to make Obama a one-term president, and obstructed him at every turn. McConnell, of course, cared only about seizing power for his party, and later, he could not muster that same bravado when faced with Trump’s assaults on the government. Patriotic Americans and their representatives might now make a similar commitment, but for better aims: Although they cannot remove Trump from office, they can declare their determination to prevent Trump from implementing the ghastly policies he committed himself to while campaigning.
The kinds of actions that will stop Trump from destroying America in 2025 are the same ones that stopped many of his plans the first time around. They are not flashy, and they will require sustained attention, because the next battles for democracy will be fought by lawyers and legislators, in Washington and in every state capitol. They will be fought by citizens banding together in associations and movements to rouse others from the sleepwalk that has led America into this moment.
Get that? “Patriotic” Americans must now prevent Trump from carrying out the pledges he made to the American people on the basis of which they voted for him— the essence of a democratic election.
Liberals having this meltdown are accusing Trump of behaviour of which they themselves are guilty: contempt for democracy, suborning the constitutional order, lying, bullying, extremism, suppressing contrary opinions and promoting hatred and division. Psychologists call this kind of accusatory behaviour “projection”. It is a mental disorder.
The chances of this election result resulting in such people questioning their own mindset and assumptions, which have now so spectacularly blown up in their faces, are very slim. A notable exception has been Scott Jennings, who in his rare media mea culpa also said the following:
I also feel like this election was something of an indictment of the political information complex. We’ve been sitting around it for the last couple of weeks, and the story that was portrayed was not true…all these gimmicks we were told were going to push Harris over the line, and we were ignoring the fundamentals: inflation, a feeling like they were barely able to tread water at best…for all of us who cover elections, and talk about elections, and do this on a day-to-day basis, we have to figure out how to understand, talk to and listen to the half of the country that rose up tonight and said, we’ve had enough.
Absolutely correct. Elsewhere, however, liberal commentators are employing funereal tones today as if they are in mourning. And of course, they’re lashing out at the people they say are to blame.
They blame Harris for failing to be different enough from Joe Biden.
They blame women for unaccountably failing to vote for her.
They blame people without a college degree for not having the intelligence to agree with them.
They blame the dark forces of human nature.
They blame Elon Musk for existing.
What such people can’t see — and will never see — is that the people to blame are themselves.
https://melaniephillips.substack.com/p/against-all-odds
Excellent post – problem is, last time I looked it was still only 51% to 47% – a win by the public vote (not always the case) also, but hardly a landslide? Small margins……
America, like this country, is completely polarised.
Bizarrely, I think it's less polarised than we are. American voters quite regularly switch from Rep to Dem and vice versa, not something that happens as much here.
A good summary.
I wonder if our own newly elected will look in the mirror.

https://www.msn.com/en-gb/entertainment/music/snp-s-gender-list-has-14-definitions-that-nobody-in-scotland-belongs-to-data-shows/ar-AA1tySXE
SNP’s gender list has 14 definitions that nobody in Scotland belongs to, data shows
JK Rowling has mocked the list, first revealed by The Telegraph, questioning whether “astro identities” of those whose star sign “doesn’t match the sign they were assigned at birth” would be next to gain formal recognition. J K Rowling – don't give them any ideas.

So hapless Harris the (w)hore got her comeuppance? Yay! There’s going to be fun on Twitter reminding all those slebs that they promised to leave America.

I am sure that Sean Penn, Robert de Niro and Harrison Ford, to name but a few of the actors, will be most welcome in Kiev.
Not forgetting Tom Hanks film just bombed. Oh how i laughed. Slebs getting political and then oblivion.
I suspect that Biden always viewed her as a lightweight, which is why he was reluctant to stand down.
I liked the news that the Harrris spads turned on Biden for sabotaging their campaign.
Always someone else’s fault of course.

All over the media, the intellectual and moral snobs are spitting out their dummies. For them, it's the EU referendum all over again, thickoes and racists voting the wrong way. We might laugh at them but it's actually worrying, given the hold that so many of them have in the establishment. Will Trump be able to cleanse them from the system? I fear for the UK. The damage that Mad Max & Co will do to this country over the next 4+ years might be terminal.
If he is sensible he should set up an Entrepreneurs’ Economic Forum and invite top bankers and the World’s top entrepreneurs to it Holding it on the same dates as the WEF making the latter completely irrelevant No invites issued to WEF acolytes
The damage that Blair & Co. did seems to have become irreversible – although it shouldn't be.

Hope you get a comfortable night, and vision improving in the morning.
Just had confirmation…by email at least, that my documents regarding my last Will and Testament have been confirmed by Lok Yui Choi.
That'll teach me for shopping at the Co-op. It could have been a bloody muslim.
I know his cousin Hoo Flung Dung.
And his lop-sided brother, Won Hung Lo.
Now now.. I wager she & her family were most loyal British subjects in the most profitable & successful colony the world has ever seen. Interestingly, there is a stubborn Scottish family that owns most of the prime landmarks in Central Hongkong still to this day. And another lot (English) that own the national carrier. Then there's the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club (RHKYC) stuck in the harbour that refuse to budge & drop the "Royal" and still fly the blue ensign. Of course I may be wrong and Ms Choi may be out there now chopping the head off a poppy seller.
Didn't i read recently that all Chinese were required to KowTow to XI?

Some may say that this graph no longer matters: however, it is a fact of history and it almost led to the destruction of the USA. This is a modern classic of learning from history and if the American people forget that this happened the charlatans, or those of like mind coming later, will try and repeat this play.

Six sour-faced women…
Apologies if anyone has already posted this. (I had a quick scroll and couldn't spot it.)
How she will pan out remains to be seen, but Kemi Badenoch has made a good start. Lumpen Lammy wasn't happy.

Matty Taylor (aka The Angry Bootneck) suggested this for President Trump (aka the Orange Oracle).
David Lammy that horrible sweaty sack of rat..? What he said about The Orange Oracle is the most offensive, ludicrous childish hyperbolic shiite that anyone in politics has ever uttered. If you like history and you read about people like Churchill & Gladstone and other gtreat orators & intellectuals we've had… and you see someone like Lammy sat in the same chair as these great men of history.. it makes you sick. He's thicker than me. I want Trump to ring Starmer in two hours time. They're gonna have to congratulate him with all the shiite they've said about him.
"Hello,
"Keir Starmer here.
"Listen I'll tell you what.. I'll tolerate you knobhead. Let me tell you what I want. That fat sweaty communist who called me worse than Adolf. You've got ten minutes to sack him. I want to see him washing bus shelters in the next hour. Or you are getting pulled through the ringer you little scrawny geggy little rat bag. And I've seen you punching a punch bag. It's a huge comfort and delivers hope to know Trump won the election, we are all a little bit safer knowing he's around. It was also great fun today to see the lefties explode – whether that be here or the US . But I do feel it's disgraceful and a shame upon this country that the foreign secretary won't apologise for calling the President ' a neo Nazu fascist ' Starner himself won't apologise either. In fact he said the ignorant racist buffoon Lammy will remain as foreign secretary for this entire parliament of 4 years .

Please let that be true, even though Trump might be on it.
Like many others he will have been approached and even visited.
The left media did like reproducing that picture of Trump with Epstein. That is another thing that will blow up in their faces as he cut all ties with him. Not so for Gates and Clinton and many others on the pilot list.
Like so many things the Leftists did to discredit him, the blowback burns them not him.
Oooh!
Oh please, please, please!🥹
I do hope that some sleb hunter is trawling through anti-Trump posts looking for those who will leave America, or anywhere else for that matter, yes Khan I'm looking at you, and chasing them to leave.
If they won't leave call them out as liars every time they post.

Ignore my lack of piping skills (piping is my bête noir!) And ignore the fact that this is 'food' I shall never eat (a carb-fest of sugar).
I was asked to bake a cake for a friend whose birthday it is today. She is gluten-intolerant, so I bought a packet of a weird starch mix called "gluten-free flour" and mixed it with a lot of caster sugar, cocoa powder, eggs, butter, and baking powder and baked it in paper bun cases for 20 minutes. I then iced it, badly, with a buttercream icing of butter, icing sugar, cocoa powder and melted-and-cooled 70% chocolate. Finally I sprinkled them with an assortment of sugar-laden sprinkles.
She had also done some baking of her own so I sat, just drinking coffee, while she and the rest of her guests tucked into the sugar-fest, which they said were delicious. I'm on a food-free day today so I will next eat (lots of meat) tomorrow.
They look good! Home-made cakes are always the best. No nasty additives.
I'm here.
Oh dear.
Where do i begin.
Your friends were being polite.
Stick to your core skills.
SPRINKLES !!!!!!!!!
I'll send you the sprinkles. You can wear them like glitter.
So, Grizzly, you made what you consider to be cute little shots of poison for your friends to enjoy?
Always the host.
Oh, that were nothing compared to the bigger shots of poison that she routinely bakes and eats. The sugar content of which is so high, it sets the teeth on edge.
Yet again.

A lesson to learn, perhaps..
Buried up to the neck and stoned to death is normal for that culture.
I am going to call it a night. What a marvellous day it has been. Hope for decent people, democracy, Trump putting a big spoke in the wheels of the WEF plans, Soros etc. Hope for the future.
I have also just worked out why my right shoulder and right side of my neck hurt & make sleep harder – too much use of the Mouse.
Goodnight all.
Night night MIB , if you are sure it is muscular , ok, but if symptom's persist , seek help.

Good morning, and thank you, Belle.
I took paracetamol, and that helped, and it seems ok right now. I will try to use the mouse left-handed today.
But you are right, if it persists I will contact the GPs.

How cute, we have a field of black ones near us .. they are so strange when they trot around!
The Llama : Hilaire Belloc
The Llama is a woolly sort of fleecy hairy goat,
With an indolent expression and an undulating throat
Like an unsuccessful literary man.
And I know the place he lives in (or at least- I think I do)
It is Ecuador, Brazil or Chile- possibly Peru;
You must find it in the Atlas if you can.
The Llama of the Pampasses you never should confound
(In spite of a deceptive similarity of sound)
With the Llama who is Lord of Turkestan.
For the former is a beautiful and valuable beast,
But the latter is not lovable nor useful in the least;
And the Ruminant is preferable surely to the Priest
Who battens on the woful superstitions of the East,
The Mongol of the Monastery of Shan.
The one-L Lama, he's a priest.
The two-L Llama, he's a beast
And I will bet a silk pyjama, there isn't any three-L Lllama.
Llama? Llama? They’re alpacas man!🙄
They certainly look cuddly.
The women aren't bad either…
One of my nephews is married to a vet. I don't recognise his wife in the photo!

Janet Daley auditions for the Geriatric Gymnastics by speaking out of her arse while both of her feet are in her mouth.
Well Janet,
Try to understand what "normal" Americans think of the type of policies that you, and your kind, would pursue.
All of them hurt the average Joe-Blow who works for a living, not in a two day in the office three days on the sofa work, but real, hard, manual labour.
These people don't care about your pronouns, they care about feeding their families.
They don't care if you think you're a man, a woman or even a sheep, they want to save for their future.
They don't give a flyer if you think BLM looting is what whites owe for being white, all they want is equality under the law and if that means prison for looters, so be it.
So Janet, bend over, lick your anus and then try to tell us you're not full of shit.
Did you write that or pinch it? If you wrote it you have my respect. I do hope you sent it to her.
All my own bile.
Not bad for a girl!!
Why did Kamala Harris avoid making a speech last night and wait so long before conceding to three times elected, President Donald J Trump?
Because she had to get authorization from fake President Alex Soros first!
https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/4f3818c05aaf6c5a249206f1525973fce54b93d6b71b25babb7676aeaf612cc5.jpg
Nah, she still thought the Dominion machines would rescue her, like last time.
Too big to rig!
Exactly, so that massive reduction in Democrat votes compared to 2020 looks massively suspicious!
Quite.
When one looks at the last time they wouldn’t dare.
Maybe, but the Democrats are heavily financed by Soros who also likely paid for the steal last time. Kamala Harris was also Soros picked for CA state prosecutor and financed in that election. Thereby setting the stage for assisting him with 'difficulties' when Soros' consortium wound up broke IndyMac Bank. Made possible with $14 billion of sweetheart federal financing from Soros' puppet, Obama, in 2008/9 which resulted in Soros' consortium exiting with about $4 billion clear. A very carefully planned operation from start to finish with the necessary Soros puppets in position.
There is a delicious irony in Trump's success. Some of his speeches were almost Reaganesque in their dry, sardonic, stand-up comic manner. Meanwhile, 'celebs' who have spent their working lives [sic] trying to be funny have had the false smiles wiped off their faces. Who's laughing now?
I am so looking forward to the next installment of 'Have I Got News for You' tomorrow.
It will probably be like a funny funeral.

Talentless. Only hung around like a bad smell in the Cabinet for so long because she was no threat to anyone and would never rock the boat. "… sadly, Trump's tragically misguided lack of support for Ukraine is also popular." Misguided? If Trump had been in power there'd have been no war and lots of lives would have been saved! Perhaps now there'll be peace, thanks to common sense lack of support for Zelensky.
Good grief! The consequences for us in the UK following regime change in the USA are being grossly exaggerated. Starmer will govern as Starmer until 2029. I'll barely notice the difference.

Miliband has une idee fixe. He doesn't care about anything else.
Not one change of US president has made a discernable difference to my life. The importance of US politics for this country is grossly exaggerated.
The UK has been massively affected by the decisions of the US governments over time. The US determined the loss of our Empire both before and after WWI and ensured this removal permanently after WWII.
I know nothing of your life, as you say, and care little as it happens.
Of course you care little for my life. Why should you? Its perfectly understandable. We barely know one another.

Not too strenuous a day.
A few hours clearing a couple of square meters of hillside of ivy, brambles, dead leaved and other detritus.
Gave the ash in the fire-pit a stir and tipped a bucket load of detritus & twigs onto it and there was sufficient heat to have it smoking very quickly with flames about 40 minutes later.
I'm now bathed and off to bed.

Starmer is just a fool. The frankly idiotic decision to publicly allow a skip load of Labour lefties to trundle off to America to campaign for Kamala Harris must be about the most stupid action of any British Prime Minister in our history.
I sincerely hope that President Trump will put this inept third rate lawyer in his place once and for all. President Trump surely knows that the British love and admire him and that we are looking to him to rid the world of the WEF/WHO morons and their wretched globalist advocates.
There are millions of British people who think quite the opposite. Whether right or wrong, they will not welcome the next four years.
I agree; some of them were sounding off to me this morning. They believe all the guff put out by the MSM.
I am becoming rather fed up with your targetting of my sensible and realistic comments. You seem to think that you are some arbiter of opinions and constantly proclaim your “holier than thou” views on all manner of topics, many of which you know nothing whatever about.
The truth is that you are a contrarian and seem to me to delight in contradicting opinions with which you disagree. I can live with that but suggest you back off otherwise I will necessarily respond with venom to your ridiculous assertions.
Ridiculous assertions, indeed! Don't be preposterous. You know as well as I do that millions of people in this country are not Trump sycophants. If that makes for uneasy reading, so be it.
There are many stupid people in this country.
Almost nobody is a "Trump sycophant" as you put it. However, it is quite plausible that there are even more millions who are perfectly content with this result.
Most of what I hear and read is parrotting of the press' hatred of Trump, as when you call it out, those parrots cann't substantiate the claims that "Trump bad".
No, inded. They cry “convicted felon” when the rest of us can see it was s was crackpot accusation with a partisan jury; they cry “insurrection” when the pictures show people walking round the Senate having been let in. They claim people died as a result / but Ashleigh Babitt was shot bt the American equivalent of Plod, and the others dying says later were really nothing to do with it. No one can point to anything actually racist and/or fascist…yet the accusations still fly…and they wonder why we more rational types don’t share their TDS.

Stig, what was wrong with using the word ‘supporter’ rather than sycophants? That word is unnecessary. I’m a Trump supporter but in no way a sycophant.
I blocked him once for the same reason but was persuaded to unblock him; but have to breathe deeply often…
I thought to block him but like you thought that churlish. As you say, deep breath or in my case shallow breathing.
There are millions more Britons who fear the next 4 years and 8 months of this U.K. government. After only 4 months they have done more damage to the indigenous peoples than the inept previous governments did in 14 years and by god the were evil.
Goodnight, all.
Bugger.
Woke up and can't get back to sleep.

Apparently there was a spike in suicides in the US yesterday. The media who whipped up all those people into a frenzy bears responsibility for that.
They are all cluster B/borderline Cluster B personalities. They are literally emotionally retarded. With the emotional range of a toddler.
Josh Slocombe on Disaffected tells it as it is on these people. Worth a watch/listen.
Joshue Slocum was the first man to sail single-handedly around the world in 1985 -98 n his boat, Spray.
